Rob, what is the likelihood of 192cm?

Very thin for his height

Not hardly. 178 is a perfectly healthy weight for a 6'3" man. I knew a guy who was 116 lbs. at 6'6". Three inches taller and 62 lbs. lighter. This guy wasn't sick, just naturally super slender. In the "underweight" BMI category, but no medical problems at all. Of course he was incredibly slight, but didn't look freaky or emaciated even in a bathing suit.

Malcolm X was 6'3" minimum. He had very erect posture, edged out Muhammad Ali, and made MLK look like a shrimp. I think he may have been around 6'4" out of bed, and 6'3.5" otherwise.

Looked even taller, very erect posture. Agree edged out Ali so the great boxer must have been under 6'3''.

Yeah, 5'6.5 does look about what he was!! Maybe he claimed that at some point.

191-192cm zone

MLK at 5'9.5" is pure lunacy. Here he is with RFK who was 5'9"(some even argue 5'8").

Editor Rob: Adam, the autopsy for MLK Jr had him at 5ft 9.5 I believe, I'm still in shock from reading that...who the heck measured him? Mr Magoo??? 👴👴

Anyways as for Malcolm X 6'3" is fine, no need for higher.

6'3 is right

About MLK, I did hear he was 5'6 range
TJE said on 16/Dec/16
I'm thinking the 5'9.5 for MLK was the same situation as Tupac being measured 6'0. That is, his feet were pointing downwards and was measured from his toes.

Seen 6'3.5" and 6'3" for him. He said his father was 6'4" as well.

Being a half-inch taller than another person means being barely taller than said person; a quarter-inch height difference is essentially not discernible to the human eye.
MJKoP said on 16/Dec/16
Many articles give him 6'4", specifically in reference to Denzel Washington(who was given a flat 6 foot) playing him. I can live with 6'3", though. What I don't understand, however, is why you've added X before Martin Luther King Jr. I can only hope he'll get a listing sometime in the near future!

He looks barely taller than Muhammad Ali. Is 6ft2.75 a possibility for Malcolm, Rob?
Editor Rob: I think Christian, 6ft 3 is fine for Malcolm.

Nice you added him. 6'3 ish seems right. I believe he had a .25-.5 advantage on Ali and I think Ali was 6'2.75 at his peak (low of 6'2.5-high of 6'3 for me).
Arch Stanton said on 15/Dec/16
Cheers Rob, got a look at him with Ali in footage at the end of the Malcolm X film. Looked taller, I thought he looked in 6'3-6'3.25 range. I looked at some more photos and thought he looked a decent 6'3 guy, so I'll give him 6'3.25 peak! Similar to Jimmy Stewart and Gary Cooper, not the 6'4 often claimed, that might have been roughly in shoes. Might have lost 0.25 before his death out of pure fright seeing those horrid KKK masks ;-)
Editor Rob: He could be a good example of a solid 6ft 3 man.
