Now I think he's 180 flat at the absolute MAX. Heck, I would even go so far as to say 177 barefoot isn't impossible for this guy, only God knows how much height those big cowboy boots of his give him.

He's not much taller than Sean Bean, who some say is 5ft 9. Personally I think bean is max 5ft 10.5 and Cage is max 5ft 11.5, possibly 5ft 11. The Carey Pics and his liking for big heals prove he is not 6ft.

cage and don cheadle in "Family Man". very little difference in height. cheadle listed at 5'8", cage at 6'0". makes a strong case for cage using lifts in other movies unless cheadle used lifts in "Family Man" which would make no sense. Cage in the 5'9"-5'11" range makes sense.

The weird thing is when I first saw Cage in a film I thought he was tall i.e. 6ft 1 or more, but he's just quite tall and very skinny which gives a biger illusion.
The Carey Pic (a true 6ft 1.5) puts him slightly under 6ft, which adds up to how he measures against Sean Bean and Carusso.

I coach the football team at the high school i teach at also. There are about 3,000 kids at the school. It is in LA so we have a huge diverse group of kids from all racial backgrounds. We measure and weigh all of the football players and I would say about 30-40% of them are at least 6 foot.

I can buy a strong 182cm at the lowest. If Cage is 6ft2 then Jim Carrey is like 6ft3 though.

In Ghost Rider, Cage looks a solid 6ft. Even though he has quite a relaxed posture in that film with a bit of slouching, you can still tell that he is fairly tall. The least i'd put Cage at is 5ft 11.75in(182cm), and thats pretty much 6' anyway coz 183cm technically is just over 6'. Its just rounded up.

About 12 years ago, i was always thinking that Cage was a really tall man, i mean more than 6ft, maybe 6'1. His slim frame, long arms and long legs was giving me that impression. But now, after seeing that photo with Carrey, i started to believe that he could be 5'11. Maybe if he didn't hunch too much, he could look like 6ft, or just a little over.

He's tricky because sometimes he really gives the impression of a guy well over six feet but when he stands next to some people he under six feet. For example look at him next to Jim Carrey, Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery, Samuel L Jackson and Lionel Richie.
But he can look as high as 6-1. I'm not sure if he looks taller than he is because of the boots he often wears and his slim frame or if his poor posture makes him look shorter than he is. A lot of variables with Cage.
