Insider is a really funny guy.
He says 5-7 for Chuck Norris, 5-7 for Antonio Banderas, 5-8 for Johnny Depp, 5-10 for Nicolas Cage and 5-8 for Chris Rock.

I do think the full body shot picture next to Jim Carrey suggests that he could be 5-11 or 5-11.5 though.

Okay 6ft3 is unrealistic. 6ft2 he can look at times due to his proportions. I'd say he's between 6ft and 6ft1.

I don't know, his limbs do look too long for a 5-11 guy except for Ghost Rider where he just looked 5-11 to me regardless. Usually it seems he has the proportions of a legit 6 footer though.

He could be 5-11. He's not a full 6-1 though, he can look that tall but probably because of his slim frame and big heeled boots. With his slim frame and boots he'd look 6-2 or 6-3 once in a while if he was 6-1, and he never looks that tall.

Thanks dmeyer. I still think he's 5-11 and his boots/frame can make him look 6 foot or 6'0.5".
He's interesting, I've read everything from 5'9" to 6'1" for him. 5'9" is laughable but then again he'd ocassionally look 6'2" and sometimes 6'3" if he was 6'1" with his thin frame and boots. So 6'1" doesn't seem realistic to me either.

He's interesting, I've read everything from 5'9" to 6'1" for him. 5'9" is laughable but then again he'd ocassionally look 6'2" and sometimes 6'3" if he was 6'1" with his thin frame and boots. So 6'1" doesn't seem realistic to me either.

Besides Leung, I usually judge height from premiere pictures because in movies a lot of tricks can be done. That's not to say that you can't get good shots for estimating height from movies when the camera angle is good and the footwear is clear but in general premiere pictures are better for comparing height.

OK this may seem like a weird way of judging somebody's height, but Nicholas Cage physically looks a lot like my uncle, both in his facial appearance and build and height. I remember comparing heights with my uncle; I was 179.8cm and he was dead on 183, so by that reckoning I think Nick Cage is around that height (183cm/6'0").

Dunno, he always looked pretty tall to me and big too. He's got a big frame, which may make him look taller than he is. In Con Air he did look a couple inches shorter than John Cusack and in 8MM the same against Pete Stormare, but they are both big guys, like 6'3! I think Nic is about 184-185 cm.

Well I we just saw national treasure and Nick Cage is not that tall. I do agree with the person who saw the stats about him being around 5 '9" and have to agree. I am 5'9" and my hubby is 6'4" and so is John Voight and they reminded us of well, us! My brother and I worked with Hanks on "Joe vs the Volcano" and he was 6'0" barefoot in the sand. I worked with Cage on "Windtalkers and he was definately a touch taller. He had a casual posture but I would say 6'1". When working on films in Hawaii there are plenty of chances to see actors without their shoes on!!!
