How tall is Richard Wilson

There are plenty of pics of Richard with Angus Deayton.

Obviously, in the more recent ones there's at least 2 inches difference between them.

But during the 'One Foot In The Grave' years, Angus always looks 0.5-1" taller.

Could Richard have been 5' 9.5" during that time?

He was age 54 to 64 between 1990 and 2000, when it ran - but played an older character.

Also, Angus has many 5' 9" (175 cm) listings online. He looked 5' 9.5" at most with David Tennant.

Perhaps about 5' 10" peak height for Angus, and 5' 9.5" at most for Richard in the 90s is on the money?

Any thoughts?

I think annette Crosby should have a page she looks 5ft 1 and her daughter Selina Griffith's who played Pauline in Benidorm and started in cuckoo she could be 5ft 6 at the tallest

I'm watching Richard Wilson's 'One Foot In The Grave' wife, Annette Crosby, starring in a horror film/comedy called 'Eat Locals'! I read in the early 90s that she's 5ft3, and yes, she always looked a fair chunk shorter than Richard, but considerably taller than Babs Windsor, who guess starred in an episode of the sitcom.

It looks so funny seeing Annette sitting at a round table with a bunch of heavies, including Tony Curran, and doing her knitting!

Unfortunately, Richard isn't in this, but I remember him in 'Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em' looking a very strong 5ft10-11, so he gets 5ft10.5 for his peak and 5ft8.75 for today's height. 😁

I saw him listing his pet hates in 'Room 101'. It was the funniest one I've ever seen. One of his pet hates was children's 💩, hailing from a job he once had. I doubt he's very fond of the adult variety either! 😂😂😂

It is clear that Richard Wilson is above average for his age group but I was expecting a higher listing!

His performances throughout his acting career meant he was a must for a page on here!

Now this golden oldie is about as funny as they come! I requested him after watching an episode of "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em" early last year and that is because when he stood next to Michael Crawford, he looked surprisingly tall.

I loved that all three actors, Richard, Michael and Michele Dotrice, otherwise known as Betty Spencer in the comedy, simply couldn't stifle their laughter in the scene. Richard plays the insurance man, who is so used to Frank Spencer's constant outpouring of claims, that he dismisses his new one - of course! All three are hilarious, and watching it over and over again as I have, I reckon that they did numerous takes, but simply gave up, leaving the giggling in! I think it is one of the best moments of the series, and makes for addictive viewing!

And who can forget his wonderful performances in "One Foot in the Grave"? That comedy is about as black as they come, and it's blackness becomes more evident the older I get!

I shall give Richard 5ft11 for his peak height and 5ft8.5 for today's height.

What a delightful surprise to see that Richard Wilson has now got a page!
