Robert Lindsay was the correct answer on one of my quizzes today, as the male lead in the comedy show ‘My Family’. I thought that I should check him out and I didn’t have to look far, as I was on the Robert Heights page!

Editor Rob5ft 9 seems hard to believe for him! 5ft 6-6.5 range might be more appropriate.

Hi Rob. What would you guess for the rest of the My Family cast? I think Zoe Wanamaker is
about 5ft 3.5. Sioban Hayes about 5ft 8. Daniela Denny Ash about 5ft 3. Gabriel Thompson about 5ft 6. Kris Marshall around 6ft 2, and Keiron Self around 5ft 8.5. Would you agree?

Editor Rob Zoe with me, today she is about 5ft 2 in person, but losing an inch is believable.
Kris always looked a tall guy 6ft 2 seems right for him, Denby I'm sure did claim 5ft 4 but I wasn't sure on that!

In that picture, Robert looks about 5ft8.5, though 5ft9.5 at the time he was playing his part in 'My Family'.
I'm not saying he's lost a whole inch that quickly; it's just that he doesn't look more than that in the picture.
I'll put 5ft10 for his peak and 5ft9 for today's height.
I don't feel he should lose half-an-inch on the grounds of one unfortunate image!

That's right, he was in Hornblower, quite suited to that role! That's Rosemary Ford with him isn't it, his wife? Still a good looking woman but she was pretty hot back in the early 90s!

Noticed he has a old seadog look about him. Reminds me of the 18th century admiral types. I could imagine sailing on a ship with him and Mick Fleetwood in command LOL. Click Here There he looks the sort of guy you'd see in a Cornish inn in 1735 haha.

Editor Rob I thought he was good in the Hornblower series and at times could look a couple of inches under Ioan.

5'10 peak seems right. Something very seedy about this guy though, he looks the type who would spend a lot of time in strip clubs! My mother got exactly the same vibe about him. Good actor though.
