@Mickie
But I thought tip-toeing pretty much nullifies any height gained by lifts
Mickie said on 24/Aug/22
Yeah he's definitely height aware, and I do buy that he's wearing lifts here.

@ ChaosControl1 - Rob said he thought T.J. had lifts.

So is Rob 5’6 now?
Tunman said on 8/Oct/20
Yeah,a solid 4cm difference in footwear, maybe 2-2.25"footwear indeed.I wouldn't rule out a fraction under 5'7 neither.Well at least he managed to look average enough
Andrea said on 18/Aug/20
Tunman, I think Rob suggested to be wearing 0.6 inch sneakers (making him about 5'8.75), so more like a solid 2 inches worth of footwear, considering that TJ can pull off looking near a cm taller (so 5'9-5'9.25) and assuming that he really is 5'7 barefoot. Maybe a bit more if he's a bit under that (a weak 5'7 doesn't seem impossible with Millegan in the photo above)?

I've met TJ before but didnt pay attention to his shoes. He claimed to be 5'9" but I feel like he's barely taller than me and i'm 5'6" barefoot. I'm wishing i looked at his shoes... i really dislike when guys lie about their height prior to meeting cuz how are they going to hide it in person?
Tunman said on 13/Oct/19
Looks 0.5"taller than you.I guess his footwear might give about 2.75?Quite awkard to walk in superlifts. I once read that any footwear exceeding 2"is really bad for the spine, especially when it has quite a high angle(no platforms).Seems like some are ready for everything to make people think they're taller.

Just a comment about lifts - remember that these guys are actors and it's all about appearance (and of course acting chops) - I don't have a problem with anyone wearing lifts, whatever makes them feel comfortable, but especially for actors since their appearance is their livelihood. Just sayin'

T. J. Thyne runs into the worst possible person, who takes a photo with him, uploads it on his site, then busts him for wearing lifts. I just find it funny as hell. Maybe serves him right, with all the money he's made being a celeb, he is still greedy for height at 5'7".
Tall Sam said on 18/May/18
Yeah, since he looks near 5'9", without his lifts, I'd say he's around 5'7" tops. Not a Bones fan unlike my wife but with the hair and beard, Thyne often physically reminded me of Richard Dreyfuss in Jaws.

Maybe that's why he's sweating so much, he's like " I really hope he doesn't notice my bulge "
I hope you mean in his boot! Anyway, I've actually seen this guy before, and I'm not going to contest Rob's listing of him!

looked about 5ft 8.5 range that day, but had a bulging boot. With
No bulging boots that's how he looks with 5ft 11 Eric Millegan.

Rob, is this the only celeb you met in person beside James Kyson Lee that you knew for sure wore lifts?

I've not seen anything as obvious to me as those 2 guys. A half or 3/4 inch lift is hard to tell than if you have 1-1.5 inches...the laces area becomes more bulging.

thyne height aint 5'9

Rob, how tall is he standing with you in those lifts?
Maybe an extra 3 cm of height?

he looked like a 174cm guy (from my view, if we both had 0.6 inch sneakers), of course he had a bulging boot, I couldn't find a shot of it anywhere unfortunately....
