Yes, Rob, it is probably best to add in Britton as 6'0", like his Spotlight Listing.

That's the thing though Gerald, the ground isn't flat there. I'd be surprised if Tony Britton was much taller than Terence. Both men I feel throughout their careers looked in that 182-3 zone. I think Terence still looked close to six foot in the first two or three years of Bergerac but by the final series I think he looked 5ft11 flat,I remember he looked an easy 4 inches shorter than 6ft3 Simon Williams,by which time Terence would have been 68.

Rob, would you mind adding Britton as well, when you get the chance? Another vintage English actor of old cinema and television. He did look about 6ft with Peter Sellers in There's a Girl in My Soup.

Rob, what is your interpretation of the height difference between Alexander and Britton at around 1:02:00 below? Half an inch in Britton’s favour?

If the ground is flat, yeah Britton looked taller. He also had 6ft down for his height in Spotlight.

I thought Alexander came off as a strong 182cm in The One That Got Away and his episode of The Persuaders. No more, no less. Amazingly, he still passed for 182cm range on Bergerac into its later years, so I understand how 6’0” peak can be argued.

I did feel Alexander seemed short of six feet particularly in The Fast Lady, however.

I knew his face, as I used to watch Bergerac and I have seen him in other productions besides. Yes, his is a face that is instantly recognisable.

Now I find out that he’s no longer with us. How sad.

RIP Terence. XXXXX

He looked 3cm shorter than Roger Moore in The Persuaders,so I'd say Terence just about six foot and Roger solid 6ft1.

So you think Alexander did make the full six feet, Rob?

It would have been close but I am drawn to 5'11.75" (despite Alexander still looking no less than this during Bergerac). At about 1:02:00 below, Tony Britton (also listed on Spotlight as six feet) edges Alexander out by about half an inch.

I think I could see him either 5ft 11.75 or 6ft.
