I've just been lucky enough to catch 'Fatal Attraction' before I'd missed too much!
Looking at Anne with co-star Glenn Close, a rare opportunity in this film but one which presents itself when the audacious Alex goes round to Anne, (Beth in this), and Michael Douglas's house under false pretences, you get an excellent chance to compare the two when they are walking to the door. Anne is at home, so is hardly going to be wearing much of a heel, but Alex is visiting and wants to outdo the 'competition' in her sick, twisted way, so I'm sure she was wearing some sort of elegant heel, because the two women look neck-and-neck in the height department.
I can go with 5ft6 for Anne, though she's probably lost a bit by now. One information source has her written up as 5ft7. No way, when Michael was, at best, 5ft10 in 1987 when this was made. Anne has to look up to him! 🙄🐇

When I started going through the stars' heights on the pages of this website, I came across Anne Archer and I thought, "Hmm! Nice height!"
Yesterday morning, I saw an episode of 'Little House on the Prairie', and not by any means for the first time, in which Anne stars as the Olesons' niece. The episode came from 1975 (series 1, episode 17 to be exact), and Anne, who was already grown up then, falls for the ageing Dr Baker and he for her, but in the end the doctor pulls out of marrying her because of the age gap! In the 19th century, the time that the programmes are about, marriage was for life! It was entered into seriously!
The episode had a sad ending, as they so often do. I wonder if Anne had any idea how big she would be in Hollywood one day?

how in the hell do you keep weight at 113 lbs. at 5'6 you would be clearly underweight.
