He doesn't look like a "mamouth" to me, juststic. In general, Routh's unique build make him look taller. Brandon Routh's head and shoulders are about the same size as Rob's (shoulders might be an inch broader, max). I struggle to see him at anything over 189cm.

The most telling photo of Brandon Routh is the one where he is standing next to Christian Bale, Bale was once purported to be 6'2". If Bale really was that tall than Routh would be 6'6". Looks 6'2.5. The size of a persons' head may vary, Brandon got a bit bigger head than the general person, hence you can't apply the "where the top of robs head is in comparison to x".

I do have a long head but not a wide head. From my the bottom of my nose to top highest part of my head is 7". To others Make sure you measure to top of the head not hairline. Balance a big book on your head to get the measurement and down to your chin. I thought mine was 11" until I did the book thing.
If his he 7" from nose to top of head then I could see 6ft3. I'm positive that guys head is 10" if Robs is 9.5 because I've scaled it up and yes there is also about 7" to the top of his head from the bottom of his nose.

I also met Brandon Routh in Mk in May and i noticed he was wearing boots with high backs. I am 6ft 1 and in the photo he looks a lot taller so I'm guessing in flat shoes he wouldn't be as tall. Just need to meet the Rock now and my life will be complete.

My cousin met him in L.A., my cousin is a solid 6'2"and 1/4 in flat feet. He said Brandon Routh was atleast a half inch, or more taller. The funny thing he said, is that they were both wearing black converse all stars. He said Brandon was very easy to speak to and a gentleman to all the fans. His best guess onhe height was that Brandon was atleast 6'2" and 3/4 and my cousin is not the type of guy to talk about height. But I was able to get it out of him.

I think that the top of Rob's head is a bit above the tip of Brandon's nose. I see at least a .5 inch difference between the top of Rob's head and the tip of Brandon's nose if not .75 inch,

I kinda see a 14 cm difference between Rob and Brandon. Measuring the width of Rob's hand and assuming that it is about 3.5" you then get approximately 1.54 hand width difference in height between Rob and Brandon wich if you multiply by 3.5" gives roughly a 14cm difference, give or take .5cm wich would put Brandon at about 187cm ( rounded from 186.7 ) so in my view 6 ft 1.5 in

Editor Rob that's pretty typical, usually 9-9.25 but for your size of 6ft 3 9.5 might be more average. Women can have just 8-8.5 inch long heads because the jaw is smaller than a man's in many cases. Actually if you go to nora zehetner on this site that lady has barely even 8 inch head

but still comparing my friend(who is a legit 176cm) to me, and Rob(who is 173cm) to Routh results that the top of their head comes to our nose. even if Routh forehead is bigger that mine that can be by 3cm. so 188-189cm should be Routh's height

Routh was maybe an inch taller in other photos but Hugh was wearing trainers which don't give as much heel as Routh's dress shoes. Routh is probably a half-inch taller than Jackman flat so that picture is no surprise but you still gotta consider footwear.

Usually these guys are 3.5-4 foot using a decent wide angle.
Better explanation: - if the celeb is tall it's likelier the photographer will stay tall so the lense is maybe eyeline-hairline zone. If the celeb is my height or shorter, he usually shoots with poorer stance, so the lense could be in mouth-eyeline zone.

Routh is wearing basketball shoes so he'll have slight advantage but we don't Molale's footwear. I've always said 6'2.5'' minimum for Routh, I think 6'3'' is more accurate though.

Any photographer, even an amateur, will be able to confirm it! I confess I am surprised in seeing people caught out like that with a so simple and commong normal thing, not even a "trick"; just a way of shooting people!
By the way I pratice photography for 40 years.

I read that he didn't even start to work out until after his hip injury, and he was a an outstanding physical specimen, same as tyson, at a real young age. And he looks even bigger now

Editor Rob yes, I'm not going to argue he's really as big as he looks, luckily it's as close to an ideal photo I probably could have got. He had a brown shoe, I had trainers, not much difference. Many folk commented on how tall he looked at that event. I don't know what they were expecting, a 5ft 11 superman :)

We (my husband and I) saw him in person when we were in LA. Weird Hollywood moment when we were actually in a restaurant in LA and there was a movie star present. Anyhoooo.... He's as tall as my husband slouching around and in normal shoes which makes him just a hair under 6ft 3.

this site just goes OTT sometimes, half the people on here that are downgraded 1cm from their claim (i.e. listed here as 174 even when they say 5'9/175) I would bet my ass actually are that 1cm more
seriously, who actually walks with the perfect posture that you have when someone measures you?! I hardly believe it's even possible to tell if someone upped their height by 1cm unless they are stood right next to someone who is that 1cm more so you can see the difference. and that's IN PERSON I think it's pretty hard to tell 1cm, so debating about whether someone is 6'2.2 or 6'2 3/8 from TV and films just blows my mind
I mean I don't even believe you could tell in person if someone truly is 174 and not 175, shoes can make that difference!! and hair!! (I mean seeing where the top of their head exactly stops, not height from hair). I'm 175 myself but a couple years ago at college (I'm 19 now, it's POSSIBLE I may have grown a CM or 2 in the last couple years but I really, really doubt it, I don't think I've grown since like 15 or something, but I can't say by measurements cause I first measured at like 18 and a half or something, I'm just going on the comparison to my dad who is basically same height as me) some guy told me I wasn't 5'9 but "about 5'8", and it's like... I have bad posture for a start I know that, and I've always worn Converse!! pretty much the flatest (decent) shoe you can get, so I probably have never "looked" a full 5'9, but I know for a fact I wasn't "about 5'8" at the time, if you get where I'm coming from... I mean fair enough you do get people that just take the piss with it like that guy from the 70's show, Will something, who claim's over 5'9 and from a pic on this site looks closer (I'm not gonna say he is 5'7 for a fact or antyhing cause I'm bad at judging heights etc anyway, well, specific heights) to 5'7!

You guys are taking this acurracy thing too far, come on 6ft 2 3/8 is 6ft 2 1/2. How do you know anyway, until you see him actually measured. Your talking about 0.5 cm. I say He's 189cm same height as myself.

I'm not convinced he's a 6-2.5 guy. I watched superman recently and saw him in interviews. I can't say he's anymore than 6-2 3/8.

So, no more than with Smallville, we cannot use SUP. returns as a way to evaluate his height; In his caes, for sure, they did anything to make him look at least as tall as Chris Reeve, deal!
