Yeah no to that 6'7" claim. 6'5" at the max.

6’5 range fits. Has one inch on Tyler Perry

255lbs if he is still a male model now, that is way insane. Most of the male model weigh under 210 at average range of height 6'1 1/2 and a real 6'5 is huge for modeling.

From what I could tell, Jones looked a bit taller than the guy from the Travis Doctors show, but definitely not 3" taler. More like an inch; perhaps inch and a half tops.

Danny Jones was on the TV show ‘the doctors’ recently (clips on YouTube). Stood near Travis Stork one of the doctors on the show who claims to be 6’4. Danny looked a similar height. I’d give him 6’4 possibly 6’5. Definitely not 6’7 though.

Opinions on the bodybuilder Danny Jones? He claims 6’7 but he has a pic where he is standing in a door way on his tippy toes and still doesn’t reach the top with his hair and the doorway is 6’8

@MrTBlack - I wouldn't completely shoot down my suggestion. If you ever see this comment since its been 2 months, I'll just say this, Of course lets not act like everyone ends up half a foot shorter or taller then their same sex parent but There are many factors aside from genes like diet, quality of life, sleep, etc that can make height Much more random then you make it out to be.

I grew up all over Canada (B.C, Alberta, Toronto, etc), heck I even lived in Texas for a while and lived in areas filled with multicultural poorer immigrant families from all over the world and it didn't happen to everyone but there was a trend I noticed where it was more common for the parents/aunts/uncles and grandparents to be short or average height but the children ended up being much more taller then the rest of their family. Likely due to the fact that they were had much better living conditions compared to the poor countries many of their parents immigrated from etc.

I know several girls who are inches shorter then their moms and vice versa. There are celebs here who didn't end up getting the tall gene from their parents or who did. Zendaya has pretty tall parents (her moms over 6 ft) but shes much shorter and skinnier then both of them. Kimora Lee Simmons and Ireland Baldwin. Gene Simmons and Pierce Brosnan's sons. All those peope, have average-slightly above average parents and they all ended up pretty tall.

My friend is 6'3 and his dad is 6'2 but his grandpa is just 5'8 and his wife was just 5'4. His cousin is 6'4! I suspect he had tall ancestors but none of his recent relatives save for those that I mentioned were that tall. And I know some families where it appears that tallness skipped a generation.

@Canson case in point. It’s the same for me. My Father was closen to 6’1” peak and I’m 6’2” so we are about the same height with me being fractionally taller.
Canson said on 1/Jun/18
@MrTBlack: my father is who I got mine from. My Father is even at nearly 70 years old just a hair under 6’4”. He was a hair over peak. Not sure if I would edge him in his prime. If anything maybe 1/8-1/4”. But he got his from my Grandmother as she was 5’10-5’11 at her peak and my Grandfather was 6’0”. My Mother’s parents weren’t tall. I’m not sure about her grandparents. That was the example I was using as my Uncles are both tall. One was 6’3” peak and still 6’2 probably the other 6’2 and like 6’0 and change today

Tallness is a dominant trait as mentioned earlier. Most males on average though end up roughly the same height as their Fathers.
You’re tall because likely your Mothers Father is taller than your Father or because she’s a tall woman.
Christian-6'5 3/8" said on 28/May/18
@MrTBlack

I don't think it's that general. I have an average heighted father but my mother's tall. I inherited most of my height from the opposite gender parent. And I know plenty of people that are in the same situation as well.
Canson said on 28/May/18
@MrTBlack: agreed! I’ve noticed as well in some cases say the mother is 5’11 and the Father 6’0, I’ve seen the kids end up well over 6’0”. It seems a tall mother is almost a given for a tall child but you’re right as well about same gender parent
MrTBlack said on 27/May/18

MrTBlack said on 27/Jan/18
@Canson, that’s still above average for your ethnicity. My dad was 6’0.5” at peak and 5’11” now (his medical gave 6’1.5” in his 20s but I’m sure that’s a shoe height since he was 5’11.75” in his late 40s-Early 50s barefoot) and I’m 6’2”(evening and got 6’2.25” in afternoon not sure about morning though since I can’t do it right but my guess is 6’2.75” or 6’3”.) But Yeah Italians and Portuguese are generally smaller than Northern European and Caribbean/African men.
Canson said on 26/Jan/18
@MrTBlack: sure! I’m mixed African American is how I’d identify but ethnicity is a bit of Portugese and Italian on my mom’s side and my dad (African American) has some African in him as well as Bermudan and A bit of Jamaican. My father is 6’4” was a solid 6’4-6’4 1/8 peak (still about to 6’3.75 or so today at nearly 70) and my uncles were both 6’2 and 6’3 peak and today 6’0.5 probably and 6’2-6’2.5 prob
MrTBlack said on 22/Jan/18
@Canson

Yeah I wouldn’t mind being 6’4”-6’4.5” either. The bare minimum I’d want to be is 6’1”. Considering my ancestry (Scottish and Dutch mostly) being 6’0”+ is definitely not a lot to ask for. What’s your ancestry if you don’t mind me asking?(I ask because race and ethnicity is often correlated to height)
Canson said on 21/Jan/18
@MrTBlack: 6’2 is an optimum height for most. I’m 6’4-6’4.5 and like mine overall. Now guys 6’6 or more think otherwise tho from what I’ve sern honestly
MrTBlack said on 20/Jan/18
@Canson

6’4.5”? Im 6’2” barefoot and honestly it’s a damn good height, in most circumstances stances im the tallest amongst my peers and in most social situations (not so much at airports, colleges and concerts though) there’s only 1 maybe 2 guys taller than me and it’s usually an inch tops if they are. Even Obama at 6’1” towers over almost every man in his videos.
Canson said on 20/Jan/18
@MrTBlack: 1.5” is a bit high on a dress shoe. More like 3cm or maybe 1.25 and a sneak that could be right. I didn’t realize it was 2” tho. The Jordan 10s I have are around 1 and a quarter I think. I’m 197 even at night in them
Canson said on 20/Jan/18
@Mr T Black: I’ve never bought either being much higher than 6’4.5. Robbins said before he was 6’4.5. There’s a chance that he can be like 6’4 5/8 or so and rounded down but over is a stretch when he was clearly shorter than Howard stern who is around 6’5. Stern may have been a strong 6’5” peak tho. I actually believe he was a guy who may hit 6’6” out of bed peak and he 6’5.25 or maybe right where Christian is some days 6’5.25-.375 today tho next to Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson looks 6’5” like Bobby3342 described him when he met him
Christian-6'5 3/8 said on 20/Jan/18
@Canson
It's pretty rare that 6'5"+ guys inflate their height, but there's cousin of mine who's around 6'7"-6'7.5" (has approx 2" on me) but claims 6'9" and our family brags to other people that he's 6'9". And the funny thing is that I have another cousin who's 6'3.75" but is honest and claims 6'4", but as expected my taller cousin calls him 6'5"-6'6" and calls me 6'7". But I saw him most recently at a family reunion years ago, and that was before I took intrest in heights and became "height conscious" so I haven't called out on his lie yet. I know my 6'7" and change cousin played basketball so 6'9" is probably the height he was listed at. But what you said about ex-ball players claiming their listed heights instead of their actual heights is true. Although I didn't play ball at university myself, I've known some classmates who did and they inflated about an inch or two.

@MrTBlack
Some basketball shoes give as high as 1.5" but I've never heard of any footwear giving nearly 2" other than work boots. And Air Maxes give about 1.4" but not 2".
MrTBlack said on 20/Jan/18
@Canson and Christian

I think Vaughn was a legit 6’5” at peak (maybe 6’4 3/4” at worst) since he always towered over 6’0.5” listed Favreau. Robbins is 6’5” and I’d say if anything he’s slightly over 6’5” rather than below it.
Canson said on 19/Jan/18
@Christian: it’s an anomaly for sure because me as a guy who is “almost” 6’4.5 myself would not want to be 6’7 or even 6’6”. This is why you see a lot of people cut it off around 6’3 or 6’4 claiming 6’5” as many know that’s about as good as it gets for a very tall person. And That’s the case with many guys who are 6’4 or 6’5 or taller. I mean you at 6’5” know too that 6’5” is plenty tall but you’re still comfortably tall as you could hold under 6’6” in some shoes and right at or a smidgeon above In others. Even a one inch sneaker is not far north. but an inch taller would cause more issues than good for you as would 2” for me. 6’6” is not horrendous height but it’s pushed it quite a bit as you are almost staring at the top of doorways when you’re in shoes and are very limited on shoe selection if you don’t want to duck your head under doorways. Which is why I don’t see why people do that to begin with esp guys 6’3” range who are otherwise a damn good height even 6’2” range even 6’0” guys. If you aren’t using your height for pro sports it really has no benefits once you’re over 6’0”. Meaning a 6’4 guy and a 6’1 wouldn’t have any different perks and honestly a 5’11 and 6’0” guy aren’t that much different. A height of a legit 6’6” or above is just “why aren’t you in the NFL or NBA”? A legit 6’6” is seen to many as 6’7” to 6’8 due to inflation yet I only know one guy that still claims to be taller than they are that is in excess of 6’5”. My former team met the 6’5.5-.75 (197cm guy) that claims 6’7”. I could see 6’6” since he’s def 6’5.5+ but 6’7” is ridiculous. He uses the shoe excuse and is full of himself and still single lol. I would guess 6’5 2/3 or 5/8 is about what he is since he has just enough distance between a 6’5.25 and my 6’6” friend that we can see the difference in height yet back to back barefoot was how it was done. Of course he proceeded to tell them both that they were 6’7” too (6’6-6’7 for the 6’5 guy) and calls me 6’5-6’6 to this day and my 6’7 friend he calls 6’8” usually sometimes 6’8 and change or 6’8-6’9. I actually played against Travis Garrison in high school and AAU that used to play ball for Maryland. He still claims 6’9” to this day from what I hear but is 6’7-6’8 in reality (pre draft 6’7.5 is pretty accurate as last time I saw him it was around a 3” difference he had on me).
MrTBlack said on 19/Jan/18
@Christian

Right. 6’6” claim might make sense since a lot of shoes give 1.5” in height and NBA players wear clunky 2” Air maxes. I think Ohurn is probably not under 6’5” since he does tower almost everyone but quite a bit. Im thinking his 6’6” claim is a morning height and 6’7” might be his boot claim.
Canson said on 19/Jan/18

Christian-6'5 3/8 said on 19/Jan/18
@MrTBlack

Guys around his height in Hollywood usually tend to be more honest though, like Vince Vaughn and Tim Robbins. A 6'4.5" guy claiming 6'7" is an anomaly like Canson said. I've met 6'4.5" guys who claimed 6'6" but not 6'7". Another example of 6'4.5" claiming 6'7" is Lonzo Ball, but he's a basketball player so it's a different situation.
MrTBlack said on 19/Jan/18

I have to disagree Slim. Most guys over maybe 6'5 tell the truth and this includes 6'5 guys who are legit 195.5+ at their lowest. That's unless pro athletes. I heard it best from three friends who are 6'5 and change, 6'6, 6'7. The 6'5 guy most indeed would wake to 6'6 as he looks a full inch taller than me (worst would be 7/8") but is quick to say he's 6'5 and doesn't include the extra 1/4-3/8" at his lowest. He's the only one out of those three that doesn't complain about how tall he is. The others say they wish they had his height or mine at 6'4 and change over theirs and he says "I'd never want to be 6'6. Nothing good about it and I agree. That's unless you need the height for pro sports etc. otherwise it's just useless

---

The frequency of it goes down, but certainly are people 6'5"+ who lie to make themselves taller. Brock O'Hurn could be an example of such a guy - if he's even a real 6'5" range guy which he could be under. Someone like Afrojack is another good example, he's obviously around 6'7" but has claimed 6'9" and even 6'10" in interviews. He's a very tall guy, but still desires to be thought of as even taller. This isn't as common as shorter guys claiming to be taller, but still happens.

He's basically the same height as 193 cm Tyler Perry. Like 1 cm taller, so we'll call Brock 194 there. I've measured my mom quite a few times at 10.1-10.2" inches shorter than me(6'1") and her head doesn't appear anywhere around my mouth in most pictures unless she's wearing heels or I'm slouching with a major hunch. Assuming that he has much bigger head than me, he looks 9.7-9.9" taller than Bieber.
Editor Rob: I doubt he is standing quite as tall as he could with Justin, generally I think a solid 6ft 5 is ok for him
The Man said on 2/Aug/16
The 6'4" and sub-6'5" estimations for Brock are insane. He's gotta be 196cm minimum. He might possibly even be 197cm, check out this photo with 194cm Tyler Perry Click Here Brock would be 2-2.5cm taller if both guys had the same posture. Not to mention, Brock was wearing slightly thinner footwear than Tyler.

It's honestly beyond me why someone as tall as Brock would exaggerate their height.

---

I think he came up with 6'7" to sound more impressive on instagram. If he said his true height (which looks probably somewhere between 193 and 196 cm) he'd be very tall, but you wouldn't get people bringing it up under almost every photo he posts to his instagram page. He's a big guy, but he's clearly no 6'7" let alone even 6'6". Maybe 6'5" - maybe.
Canson said on 11/Jul/16
@Arch and Mr TBlack: it's very true what Arch said that seems to be the norm but to MrTBlack's point I have always wondered myself why someone his size would do it. I don't see a lot of ppl 6'5 flat lie up. Well unless they are pro athletes or college. Some Pro athletes surprisingly (as seen) claim their barefoot height. I've seen like an Isaiah Thomas (current one not Zeek) or Charles Barkley Reggie Miller MWP.

Because he probably got measured in boots or something earlier in the day and got measured at near 6'7. In the morning he could be 6'7 on the nose in a good boot. A lot of Americans claim the height they were measured in shoes, Brock could have got measured at 6'6.5 in normal shoes and rounded up.

The funny part Alex is you're right! Usually you don't see a 6'5" guy or above lie about height maybe unless they're 6'10-6'11 they may say 7'. Now Brock looking at him I can't get a good read honestly. He has large proportions. But Rampage may have said it best (once again) he's prob 6'6 out of bed which would make him what Rob has. Maybe 197.5/195.5 as well
Alex said on 9/Jul/16
Of course, almost everyone lies or are not completely aware of their heights. He is nowhere 6'7. In public, he never appears more than 6'5.

Actually he claims to be 6'7"!

It's hard to tell based on angle and postures, but he looks like he'd be maybe a little taller than Tyler Perry: Click Here

I think Tyler is about 6'4". If you look at Tyler next to Barack Obama, he can look under 6'4", but I think 6'4" is a fair estimate. Rob currently has him at 6'4.5".

Either way, if you look at the whole group, Brock does NOT tower over them like a 6'7" guy would. The question I have with Brock - is he more of a 6'4" range guy or 6'5" range guy?
Omar said on 23/Jun/16
Been waiting for him to get exposed. Nice job Rob.
Editor Rob: it is just an estimate, but I think the overall consensus (at least on this page) seems to be the 6ft 6-7 range is too much for him and 6ft 5 might be a better guess.
Arch Stanton said on 19/Jun/16
Yeah, when you look at guys like Richard Osman and Peter Couch 6'7 looks laughing gas, those guys seem like 3 inches taller. But I do think he probably measures near it in the morning in shoes.

Looks nothing like Kurt Cobain. Just because he has long hair? He looks more like Liam Hemsworth/Daniel MacPherson, even Justin Theraoux (eyebrows) more than Kurt! Obviously has Irish ancestry. As Rampage says somewhere between 6'5 and 6'6, 6'6 is believable morning measurement I think. Claiming 6 ft 7 isn't that absurd, I'm sure he measures near it in shoes in the morning.

---

I think 6'7" is pretty absurd after seeing him next to Justin Beiber, Tommy Hackett, and Bryan Braman. He honestly looks to me like a guy who would measure 6'4.5". A strong 6'5" is possible I suppose. I could see him at that, but anything 6'5.5"+, I don't really think so.

Rob, bur for a big guy like him, why increase your height? I mean you are more than 3 inches over male model average height; why add yourself 1.75 more inc?
Can you please add Mariano Di Vaio and Nick Bateman? They are more popular in instagram (more than 5 million followers)
Editor Rob: maybe to sound more impressive on Instagram and in general. If you are 6ft 5 range, I'm sure there are many who actually would think of you as 6ft 7 as many lie 1 or 2 inches in society.

I know these stats aren't always right, but that chest measurement seems tiny for a guy of his size. He is literally about 100lbs more than me, but just generally much thicker all around because of all the muscle, and his chest is only 2.5" more than mine? That can not be possible. The waist measurement is totally believable, but that chest measurement can not be real.

---

I agree about the chest measurement. He looks bigger than that. 41.5 would be quite small for someone well over 200 lbs. As for height, the Bryan Braman picture Noah posted below is interesting. I think he can look 194 - 195 cm range personally. Anything over 196 seems too hard to believe for me. Very tall guy, but he's obviously upgrading his height by like 2 - 2.5" or something.

Here he is with NFL player Bryan Braman who's measurements on NFL draft scout are 6047. He looks shorter than Bryan do think its a weird angle Rob?

Editor Rob: don't know if the angle helps Braman, but it's another example of 6ft 6-7 being too much.

Oh no its Hogan all over again eh Kev? haha

If that guy looked shorter than Obama, he really looks 6'5 at most...
Also, he doesn't dwarf Justin at all in that picture, certainly noway near 10 inches taller! His claim is just absurd!!!
Editor Rob: I mean he might not be much smaller than obama, but I would safely rule out taller than him.

Also unusual for a modelling agency to inflate the height of a male over 6'3"! Is there a chance 198cm is an accurate morning measurement Rob? He seems too big to be a model but he might work for one of those "bigger the better" modelling agencies!
Editor Rob: the impression I got was a big 6ft 5 range guy, I of course wouldn't say 6ft 6 was unthinkable, but 6ft 7 barefeet looks impossible

Yes, he definitely doesn't look a legit 6 ft 7, but he can look wrestler esque sort of size, the sort of look you get on a guy approaching 6 ft 6 and 250 pounds range. I'd have gone with 6'5.5 and just assumed he got measured in boots and rounded up to 6'7, though in that photo Mathew linked he doesn't give an impression of that height there!
Editor Rob: 6ft 5.5 could be possible, I don't think that Steve Harvey chap is 6ft 2 though, he looked shorter than Obama I believe.

Rob, see 0:46 that Steve Harvey guy is listed at 6 ft 2. Click Here OK he might have on bigger boots but in fairness he looks a comfortable 6'6 er there and not too far off what he claims. You might want to check on that Harvey guy, he might be more 6'1 I don't know. This guy might be in 6'5.5-6'6 range and measures 6'7 in shoes or something.

The barefoot guy in this picture is listed at 6'2"! Click Here

And next to Justin Beiber, I see no where near 6'6" - 6'7" Click Here

Honestly I was thinking closer to 6'4" - 6'4.5" range for him. But 6'5.25" sounds ok I guess, if we give him the benefit of the doubt.
