If wiggins is 6'3 parker then Becks is 5'11 max! His hair is thick and his actual head is about his eye level(4.5 inch).
For me Becks cant be 179cm or lower but he could be a weak 180cm.

Editor Rob the more people I meet and have a good idea of their height, you can see how others stack up against them...plus if you have measured athletes with actors in video etc that's always usefull!

Someone commented on a fan page saying: "Shearer is not as tall as you'd imagine". The fan said he was 5' 11" and that "Shearer was clearly shorter than me, maybe 5' 8" or 5' 9".
I can't believe that low for 1 second. The fan may actually be closer to 6' 0" than 5' 11" flat, who knows!

Someone commented on a fan page saying: "Shearer is not as tall as you'd imagine". The fan said he was 5' 11" and that "Shearer was clearly shorter than me, maybe 5' 8" or 5' 9".
I can't believe that low for 1 second. The fan may actually be closer to 6' 0" than 5' 11" flat, who knows!
I personally reckon Shearer's either 5' 10.25" (178 cm) or 5' 10.5" (179 cm)... not above that surely.

From far away Becks looked around my height, but when I got closer he was slightly shorter, although he had his football boots on. I think for Beckham 5'10.5-5'11 is about right. He is kind of a hard one to pin down a little bit..

Last time I was measured was when I got my wisdom teeth taken out late last year, when I was measured before the surgery. It was about maybe 4 or 5pm in the late afternoon at 183 cms, barefoot. So I would of probably been around the same, I think. Yeah he was definitely wearing football boots as he had just finished training and I was wearing a pair of chucks. :)

I agree Rob should change the 1.82cm for Beckham and put 5'11.25(181cm) at night is absolute max! but these 178 claims are ludacris also.
Argument should be between 179-181 nothing else is possible. Most likely no lower than 180cm night. If Beckham was in robs height challenge Id guess about 180.2-180.6 somewhere in that range at night possibly brushing 181cm midday.
A strong 5'11 guy but definetly more 5'11 than anywhere near 6ft.
As for Alan Shearer I agree Killer hes hard to pin down, but Id say 5'10-5'11 range is his height but possibly more a strong 179 weak 180 is where Id peg Alan but sometimes he does look a bit more average 5'10/178cm. I doubt hes as low as 177 or as high as 182 because he just doesnt look that short or tall 178cm min 180cm max IMO.

Argument should be between 179-181 nothing else is possible. Most likely no lower than 180cm night. If Beckham was in robs height challenge Id guess about 180.2-180.6 somewhere in that range at night possibly brushing 181cm midday.
A strong 5'11 guy but definetly more 5'11 than anywhere near 6ft.
As for Alan Shearer I agree Killer hes hard to pin down, but Id say 5'10-5'11 range is his height but possibly more a strong 179 weak 180 is where Id peg Alan but sometimes he does look a bit more average 5'10/178cm. If he had a late growth spurt then he could well have been still growing when this profile was taken, plenty of 17 year old boys still have a few centimeters to grow so 182cm is not unlikely... there's plenty of photographic evidence to suggest that's his height.
