Eddie Fisher would have turned 91 today! At just 5ft4, his daughter Carrie was the equivalent of 2" taller than him with her 5ft1. Sadly, neither of them is with us today.
RIP Eddie xxx 🕯️
RIP Carrie xxx 🕯️

well, he was a little man who loved petite women, you know. He could feel like a tall man with liz or debbie, you know.

He mentions his height in his own biog, maybe he wore lifts in films>?? he did'nt need to with Liz or Debbie as she was shorter still

Well, i think that he was that short, 5'4. Mike Todd, who was about 5'5 or 5'6, was taller than him.

Did he ever wear lifts? I thought he looked 5'7"-5'8" in BUtterfield 8!

Rob can you add "and entertainer, also remembered for TV series such as The Eddie Fisher Show and Coke Time and roles in films like BUtterfield 8 and Bundle of Joy.
Was he really this low? I didn't get this super short impression in BUtterfield.

I would have put him about 5ft 4 to 5ft 5. It proves that Liz Taylor was never around this height then as if you look at the many photo's of them together he had a good 2 or 3 inches on her

Read these remarks about Eddie Fisher. Wanted to put in my two cents. Last saw Eddie perform in 1995, and he stil had a great voice, still powerful. Unfortunately, he has now retired. I belong to his fan club, and get to hear news about him. I don't think he was 5'4" when I last saw him in 1999, in New York, but he looked more like 5'7". He was very underrated as a singer. Had a voice as clear as a bell. There are no singers like him anymore.

Met the gentleman in San Diego a decade ago. He appeared to be exactly 5'6"
Delivered a powerful singing performance at the Poway Performing Arts Center, near San Diego. I believe he is very underrated as a singer. I often thought that if you could put vocal chords in the human heart you would capture the nature of his singing voice.

5' 4". I think he's still paying his 1961 markers from Vegas.
