I met GGG this year. I am 5'10 (178cm), we both wore shoes, and took 2 photos together. GGG is a little bit shorter than me. I think he was 2 cm shorter which makes him around 176cm/ 5 feet 9 1/4 inches tall.

It's nailed on that Golovkin is 176-177cm (5ft9.5), possibly a weak 5ft10 out of bed, then Saul Alvarez must be no more than 5ft7.75. There was about 2 inches between them at the weigh-in.

also look for pics with golovkin standint with mike tyson and james toney . he is very similar heightwise to both and they both are around 5'10 . he is also about the same height as matt damon

Golovkin can look 2.25 - 2.5 inches taller than Canelo, if Canelo does get listed on this site I would think 5'7.25 or 5'7.5 are the only two feasible options to go for though I do think 5'9.75 for Golovkin is a possibility as he can look near 5'10 quite a bit.

Editor Rob c-mo, sometimes it can be hard to be that precise, without measuring...sometimes seeing someone in person a fair bit you could narrow down a guess to within 1/8th if you are really observant, but a lot of the time a guess can cover a fraction above or below.

Based on his fight with Kell Brook, he does not look a full inch taller. Kell is a confirmed 5'8.5" because Rob actually met him, and Gennady is about 2 cm (0.75") taller than Kell. That puts Gennady at 5'9.25".
