Hey appears to have long legs in this picture. What would you guess his inseam at Rob within the nearest inch?
Editor Rob
I am not really sure what leg inseam he has. If you see him from a lower angle (which in theory should shrink the torso) I don't think he looks to have a short torso Click Here.

@ Nik - I omitted to mention that if there is a holy grail equivilant for females of guys'
6ft, it would probably be 5ft7 or 8. The reason for that is that a girl is considered tall enough for catwalk modelling at that height! πŸ˜€

@ Nik - Hi! The two friends were about 5ft11 and 5ft4 I believe! I never heard them actually say they were two inches apart, but the smaller one reckoned the tall one was nearly 6ft, which she was, but she also bumped her height up by 2", making her 5ft6! The tall one said she was 5ft8, lopping off 3" from her actual height; I never heard how tall she thought her shorter friend was. The important thing was that they both had families and could relate to and talk to one another about their kids! They were lovely, funny girls and I enjoyed looking after their youngsters, who are all grown up now with families of their own!

Cheers Nik!

@ Sandy Cowell - Hi!

Too true Sandy, I have known women of about 5'3" who claim 5'6", perhaps 5'6" is the holy grail for women like 6'0" is for men! How tall were the 2 friends you discussed in your last comment? My take is that the tallest lady was about 5'11" and that her friend was about 5'4" or 5'5", its incredible that there is such a huge difference in height between them yet they claim to be close in height!
I think that people's misconceptions over height is incredible, many women think that 5'4" is small and many men think that 5'9" is small too! This is due to all the lying that goes on!
Now onto stuffing things in shoes, I can imagine it is uncomfortable if you put anything in your shoes to make yourself taller, one of the worst things to do would be to put paper in your shoes! Like you, I would advise everyone not to do this, putting things in your shoes to enhance your height will ultimately cause there to be a lot of friction applied to your feet.

Cheers!

@ Nik - Yes, I know women aggagerate their height as well; I've found out when I've measured them - ha ha ha! In one case, we ended up laughing, but not discussing why the lying happened in the first place! I was surprised at this woman because I thought she had the confidence to carry off her shorter height anyway! Her best friend, who people suspected of being a cool 6ft, pretended to be no more than 5ft8, which was poppycock! She too, came over as extremely confident! If both these ladies' tales were to have been believed, there would have been just 2" in it, but the shorter one had to look right up in order to speak to the taller one! There must have been say a 7" difference, I reckon!

Once I tried to stuff my shoes! Don't bother! It's flaming uncomfortable! (I was 11 years old!)

Have a great week Nik!

If someone is dishonest about height to the people they are closest to then it makes you wonder about what other things they lie about or capable of lying about, people should trust that the people who are closest to them will accept them as they are. Anybody who has an interest in height will suss out the height liars easy enough, like you said, that is unless they stuff things in their shoes!
There may be some people who lie about being smaller than what they are, but it will usually be people who are very tall and mainly women too, I don't think there are many smaller people who downplay their own height but then again who knows?
One thing I have found is that it is not just men who lie about their height, women do it too! In fact loads of people do it!

Cheers!

@ Nik - Of course they should be honest to those they are closest to! Everyone else who has an interest in height will suss them out anyway!

I thought your explanation for judging whether someone is 5ft9 and claiming 6ft was excellent!
I wonder if there exist people who lie about their height the other way round and, if so, what their reasons for doing it would be. I can't think of any myself! Getting walked all over
even more, that's one, getting mugged, that's another good'un! No, I don't think there are any! How about a scaredy-cat being pushed for a dangerous soldier's job in the War and being too short so he gets sent home to sit around drinking tea and watching the box all day - I finally have one! πŸ˜‰πŸ‘

@ Sandy Cowell - Hi!

The reason why I know that some of the 6 foot claiming guys were only about 5'9" is because they weren't that much taller than me and they didn't have the "quite tall" look that a 5'10" guy possesses! Your secret 6 foot mark on the wall was really cunning and crafty, good on you for that! It seems that guys who are a few inches short of being 6 foot often lie and round up to the magical 6 foot level and it seems that men who are just under the 6 foot level often get greedy and claim 6'2" or 6'3"!
Each individual height liar has their own reasons for lying about their height, some are insecure, like you said, so we shouldn't automatically judge people for their dishonesty. Others however will lie in other areas of their life and are the sort of people who do this for their own gratification and purposes, and there are other people who lie about their height because so many other people do it! I think height is one of the things people lie about the most but thankfully this isn't the worst thing to lie about, but the height liars should at least be honest to the people they are closest to.

Cheers!

Strong 5’10”,(178.4 Cm). We should give keahu’s quarter inch to Tyler Hoechlin.

Overall, thanks for the request, he was quite the key character in the early teen wolf seasons.

5ft9? That's hilarious! How did you find out? Were they found out and publicly humiliated or was it common sense that told you?
I found a great many guys out via my secret 6ft marker that I had secretly etched onto my wall! The smallest ones I found out who claimed to be 6ft were just under 5ft10, but I found a couple of 'sinners' who said they were 6ft2 and weren't even 6ft! They were in their very late teens though, so it's not impossible that they still had some growing to do! I hope for their sake that it happened for them as it was clearly very important to their self-esteem and they were otherwise really sweet guys! You know Nik that I find it rather funny, don't you? I'd never not like someone just because he's lied about his height, if he/she is nice in every other respect! These two were nice, but sometimes I found that those who lie about their height have also lied about everything else as well!

πŸ“² (my autocorrect) seems to think that to lie about your height is to LIKE about it, but then 'he' would, as he lies all the time and likes it! πŸ˜‰

Should have just claimed 5'11

It would have been reasonably honest at least
Nik said on 1/Nov/17
@ Sandy Cowell - absolutely!

Come to think of it I have known quite a few guys of Keahu's height who claim to be 6 foot and even guys who are smaller than him do it as well. I think that being 6 foot tall is a holy grail for a lot of men and believe you me men who are 5'9" have even been known to give themselves an extra 3 inches! I have known my perfectly honest assessment of barefoot height to unsettle some 6 foot claiming men, the ones who are 5'9" or 5'10"! They tend to over estimate the heights of other people to fit in with misconceptions over their own height, I have been perfectly candid about my height and the heights of other people and the looks of disbelief that I have had, well!

Cheers!

@ Nik - He would be the JOINT smallest 6 footer I've ever seen, along with the many others who turned out to be around 5ft10 but said 6ft because it sounded nice! πŸ’“πŸ˜†

@ Sandy Cowell - Hi!

I totally agree with you, there is no way he is 6 foot so he has some more news coming his way. He would be the smallest 6 footer I have ever seen!
He is more likely in the 5'10.25" - 5'10.5" range!

Cheers!

Makes sense since Tyler Hoechlin looked an easy inch on him and he also looks roughly the same height as Charlie Bewley.

If Keahu seriously thinks that he is a full 6ft, then he has some news coming his way: he ain't!
Above we have an excellent picture which tells us a great deal! I believe this picture and will give him 5ft10.25. At first I thought he was under 5ft10!
