I think there are people here who don't know how to judge height. LL cool J is 5"11/6ft.This is not an issue. The man wears lifts, people need to understand this. If a person that is 5"11 or 6ft wears high heel trainers they can look like someone that is 6"1.5 or 6"2, especially if another 5”10 person is wearing flats.

Did anybody watch the MTV VMAs last week? LL was presenting an award with 50 Cent and they were both standing next to each other, and they seemed the same height to me...maybe LL was a little bit taller, but just very little. So if 50 Cent is 6 foot so is LL, or MAYBE 6'1" the very best.

Rob, please have a look at this link, it's LL Cool J with The Rock. I would say there's about a 4 inch difference if The Rock stood up straight, either LL is shorter than he claims or The Rock is taller then 6'3. In the movie Edison with Morgan Freeman, LL Cool J has the same height as Morgan Freeman whose height is 6'2 at 1 or 2 cm. So i thinf LL' height is 6ft15 is his real height.

i met him he was wearing 1.4 inches nike high cut so exept if he had 1 inch lift inside i dont think he can be under 186 187 range i am 182 and he had about 4 to 5 cm taller he rarely stands tall thats whi he can give the impresion of being shorter i think he is between 186 and 188

Thank you for that info Mike. It is his build that gives the image that he is taller.6"0 max and no taller. I would say 5"11. Why he is saying 6"3 is beyond me. Hmm I'm not sure how much Timbs can increase your height, I dont ever remember them increasing your height from 5'7 to 5'11! I know I'm just over 6ft so like 6ft.5 and when I wear my timbs they give me a good inch and a half so Im nearly 6'2.

Editor Rob hmm, there's normally two soles, I have a pair of timberlands with This type of sole - it measures about 1 inch, and gives me 1.1 inch over barefoot height, insole is pretty flat on mine. The larger timberland sole, although I don't have any, looks to me like a 1.3 inch style doc-martin type sole, and unless the insoles of those shoes have huge padding, I doubt you'd get much more than 1.4 inches over your barefoot height...

As an owner of a few pairs of Timberland boots, I don't know them to increase your height by much. A 1.25 inch increase. That's all. So, I find it hard for someone to look multiple inches taller with them on ...but then again, maybe I'm missing something.

One day we went to play football and he took of his timbs, I almost had a heart attack lol. The guy was so small. What made it worse for him is he was standing next one guy I know who was the same size barefooted. The guy said hey you are the same height as me. I asked him how tall are you. Guess his answer. 5"7!!!!!! lol.

If Westwood is 6"3 and wore 1 inch to 1.5 inch trainers what would make him taller than Jay Z or about the same. Even if Westwood is 6"4 bare footed, LL would be lucky to get 6ft. Editor Rob I simply think he just slouches in many pics where he looks shorter...just looking at pics where he's standing properly he looks genuine 6ft 1 range....or maybe he's 5ft 11 and carries a box around with him and bribes the photographers to shoot from thighs up! He looked a little taller than Jackman remember (granted he had likely 3cm advantage in shoes), hard to imagine 5ft 11...

Go to a mirror, and try to have similiar posture as LL in Glenn's. There are probably objects that you can compare with you height. I looked 5 ft 5 with that kind of posture.

I've net LLCoolJ here in my hometown on set a couple of years ago and the man is TALL. I am just under 5'9 1/2" and I was right in front of him. He is 6'2 1/2"-6'3".

What you guys dont understand about lifts is that a low slung shoe cannot have a lifted sole in it, as the shoe is too lowly slung for your foot to fit in aswell. You cannot conceal a 3 inch heal and your foot in a low slung leather shoe, that is why lifts are designed to have a high top similar to a basketball shoe, and your pants simply hang over and conceal it. Not much good In the scenario I saw, as I could see Brosnans whole shoe. Ohwell

Sometimes poeple can look for some strange reason shorter than what they really are. Sometime ago I saw a guy and he looked around 6 ft 1 (I was 3 meter from him away), then I came closer to the guy and he was about 6 ft 4.

Although I have had no encounters with Cool J, I have met Hugh Jackman, and somehow Cool J in some of those photos listed below is taller then Jackman. Jackman is 189 or 190cm tall, so something is really wrong if LL cool J is only 177-180cm tall in reality. I just cant see the guy being under 6'1" but thats just my opinion as I have not met him.

i am 182 cm we were both wearing 3.5 cm heels and he looked 4 to 5 cm taller than me its weird because in the pic i hae with him he looks only half an inch taller but i was standind as tall as i could and he wasnt so that make him loose 1 inch my geuss is 186 187 cm for sure because 20 seconds after i met a friend who is 184 185 cm and ll cool j was a good 2 to 3 cm taller so i think 187 is a good guess but i dont think is more and to answer to

By my sighting (if his shoes were normal), I can confirm he was about 6'2"(187-188cm) barefoot. I am within an inch of that myself so I can say so with a degree of certainty. Looks like a linebacker.

There's a good picture of him from 1994 that I have which has him standing next to Puff Daddy. He's only looks about an inch better than Puff who is a solid 5'10".
