It was Mike's Birthday yesterday and he turned 69. I hope he had a wonderful time.
You can see how Mike towers over the other Genesis members in the video of 'We Can't Dance'. But they CAN dance - very well, actually! 🎼🎶🎵🎧💿

Maybe his posture has worsened. He could give a 6ft4-5 impression in the Genesis years. Much shorter band mates and he was like a twig

How I LOVED that video for their hit, 'We Can't Dance'! It is there that I noticed just how tall he is compared to Collins and Banks. That was a little after I drove my neighbours nuts with a solo album of his; I can't swear as to its title, but 'Spectral Mornings' rings a loud and musical chime in my overcrowded memory! What a record! I HAVE to check it out again, indeed I do! I recently invested in the brilliant album 'Seconds Out' and it's SO worth rebuying!
I think Mike has to have to been a good and healthy 6ft3 back in the 80's, possibly a shade over! Truly I do... 😉
