Saw him at the gym I used to go to a few times. I peaked at 6” 1”, probably 1/2 inch shorter now. Peter Strauss is between 5’ 8” and 5’9”.

i actually thought he didnt look that mutch shorter than nick nolte. to me this guy is one of the few evidence that nick nolte could have been 6 foot flat. He always look atleast 184 cm tall but with this guy i saw at best 5 cm difference beetween them.

Rob, can you add the famous TV mini-series and its follow-up episodic series, "Rich Man, Poor Man", to Peter's credits. He seemed shorter than Ray Milland who was about 6' in his senior years when they worked together on "Rich Man, Poor Man". I would estimate Peter in the 5' 10" to 5' 11' range.

Peter seemed 5'11" alongside 6'1" Van Johnson, 6'3" Robert Reed, and many other tall actors in the "Rich Man, Poor Man" miniseries and TV series in the 1970's. A very fine performer, who seems to be enjoying an early retirement from full time acting these days to concentrate on other pursuits.

I have been a fan of Peter Strauss since I was a young boy. He is truly a gifted actor.
I have seen most of his TV films and Mini-series. I think 5'8" barefoot is his real height.
