I learned to play the game. But really I know the big guys mean no harm. Sometimes it's actually fun on my part. Gets the blood going from the element of surprise. I had to laugh when you said on your 6'10 friend "If you let him". Do you think I'd have a choice. Sometimes with these football players I'd have to beg to be put down.

Mark, I don't just randomly fling people, I have to know them pretty good, be in the mood, and they have to be game. My friend's younger brother who is 6'10" would probably want to toss you for distance, if you let him, he watches too much wrestling and likes to try the things they say not to try at home.

I know. I never ask, but I guess because of my size being rather small it comes with the territory. I used to teach high school and the football players would grab me and carry me in the halls. Be glad you're big.

Lifting people is a funny thing, some don't want it because it accentuates there small stature and others love it and ask for it freely. I am approximately the same height and weight as Ralph and have on occasion,when asked, lifted a person with each arm for photos.

Ralf is huge. I met him, and I'm 5'9 and 160 lbs, and when I asked for a photo he was gracious, but just grabbed me and threw me over his shoulders before the camera clicked. And said "Little guy you ain't going anywhere". And he even pulled my shoe off. He quite a jokester.

Editor Rob a guy once tried to lift me up in a photoshoot...he never succeeded though, I refuse any such public advances.

Ralf was listed between 6'6" and 6'8" in his bodybuilding days. I have a 1982 Muscle and Fitness magazine where they stated his competition weight at that time was a lean 280 pounds at 6'6" and then from a few years later, they had him at 6'8" and over 300 pounds. He did get larger, but I'm thinking he was 6'6" at his tallest and Dolph was between 6'4" and 6'5".

I meet Ralph at the Oktoberfest in Munich a couple years ago. He is the same height a I am so I think your post is right on the mark. Very friendly guy, I'm around 300 pounds and a weightlifter as well. He had many kind words of encouragement for my workout routine and even gave me a few efective pointers.

Ralph is definitely a tall and generally big guy, but I don't know if he's 197 cm these days, looks more like 195 cm. On his own site you can see his pictures with Stallone, Schwarzenegger and Eastwood (who's now well below 190 cm):

I remember a Muslce fitness article in 1997 said he was 6'8". I think he is more like 6'6", maybe 6'5.5" now, he is almost as old as Arnold.
I think all IFBB stats are about 2" exaggerated. For some reason guys gain 2" and 30 pounds after they win their pro card.
If ralf was 6'8" he would have had to weigh 320 pounds. As it was he was around 6'6" and 280-290 on stage.

Can't get a better source than the man himself (when it's not claiming to be a listed or above listed height!)...
Most boxing listed heights are inflated a little. Vitali's really about 199cm, Wlad 196cm. Ralph looks the exact same height as Wlad and a few cm shorter than Vitali.
