He was at least 6ft 0in. Slender build made him appear rather tall indeed. He was also a wonderful and enigmatic actor.

His co-star in Strangers, Farley Granger, deserves a page.

Rob, could you add best remembered for Bataan, Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo, Since You Went Away, The Clock and Strangers on a Train? A good actor, died too soon and made a sap out of by Jennifer Jones & Selznick.

Walker was skinny FOR SURE! Look at him in STRANGERS ON A TRAIN or BATAAN. I have a friend who is 6'6" and only weighs about 160 pounds. While I'm 235-240 at 6'5" (196 cms, actually).

Nonsense. Walker was a stick. I'm 5'11' and 180 lbs and I look like a blimp compared to Walker. Just how much do you think Jimmy Stewart weighed? He was three inches taller than Walker and was barely 140 lbs himself when he was young. He barely made it into the Army Air Corp because he was weighed so little for his height. Stwewart had to beef up to pass the Army physical. He did it by downing milk shakes and fatty foods and then just got by the minimum weight requirement by a pound or two. Take a look at Walker in his films. Look at him next to other actors such as Farley Granger in Strangers on a Train. Granger who was also 6' was no fatty and he was much bigger weight-wise than Walker. (FYI They used shoulder pads in those old suits) Cary Grant never weighed more than 165 lbs when he was acting. He prided himself on having a 32 inch waist. Gilbert Roland who stood just shy of 5'11" never weighed more than 150 lbs in his entire life. Back then, most leading men weren't the bulky hulks they are today. Elvis started out weighing only about 160 lbs. Then sadly he went on to become a whale.

You Are Blind. Maybe 6 feet tall but never just 140lbs, 160-170 at least.

Six feet and about 140 lbs. Walker was the same height as 6' Farley Granger in Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train.
