She once said "I am 5 feet 5 inches", although in a 1953 article it mentioned "Statistically, Miss Roman is still 5 feet 4½ inches tall and now weighs 123 pounds. She expects she will lose about 10 pounds in the high altitude on location."

123 pounds is thin for 5'4.5". On an empty stomach I'm 221 pounds.

That sounds interesting to lose 10 pounds at high altitude. I was fascinated by that sort of thing as a kid, but it wouldn’t alter your measurements, so what’s the point? 🤷‍♀️

Ruth had a ball of a career, working with some true greats.

What a coincidence! I only just watched her in an episode of Police Woman yesterday! Only about an inch under Angie Dickinson, so 5'4" by mid-fifties and 5'4.5" peak is acceptable for Roman.
