@Editor Rob: nobody else is convinced that he’s as tall as he’s listed. He wouldn’t have two 6’2 listings/measurements if that weren’t the case. Only one is in the 6’4 range.

I wonder if combines really aren’t held as early as people think now or if they do other exercises at the combine before they’re measured which reduce the height quicker?

All I know is his father is or at least was 6’7” and he doesn’t look 6’6” with him. He could be strong 6’5” perhaps at best but I also saw the pics with his wife and he doesn’t strike me as 6’6” with her. He’s just very thin giving off a taller impression, He weighs less than I do and is roughly an inch taller

Shawne is probably the most overlisted person on the site now that Quinton got his much deserved downgrade. He has been measured under 6’3” many times and has also got 6’2 3/8”, I don’t know why he is still at this figure. Looking at pictures it is obvious he is nowhere near the listing, let alone his claim.

But I guess people look at it as people who drive the speed limit and don’t speed aren’t cool. However Height is something that is tangible and fairly consistent. You’re speed changes more from second to second more than your height

I know Bobby3342 said his father met Howie Long in his prime and that he was closer to 6’4”. It’s likely that he lost height from his peak but that the 6’4.25 was his peak height and not 6’4.5 like Rob lists him. He did measure 6’4.25”. Hell I get guessed closer to 6’5 all the time unless I get a very proper 6’4” next to me. Not a disjointed 6’4 who is say an inch shorter than me claiming it (I’m a disjointed 6’5 if I claimed it). I was a teenager at the time, and I got a little mad about it until I asked My dad to get under it and it measured him way lower. Perhaps Darius Campbell got measured on one of those and that’s why he claimed 6’2”.

Not sure if that’s official or if it’s a morning measurement. If the latter, that’s not much growth. Maybe 1/4”. He always looked a genuine 6’5” guy I’d say but not 6’6”. But that’s how 6’5” is supposed to look. It looks very tall.

If I remember correctly, I was measured at 6'6" initially, then measured 6'5 5/8" (early day measurement) when the nurse pushed the headpiece all the way down.
