At his peak he may have stood a chance. Shaun would you agree that seagals height is very hard to figure out becuase i don't think the guy is always honest about this true height and clearly he is not the 6'5 he claims to be these days. Its so hard to gauge becuase he always likes to wear big shoes.

come on shaun i think seagal still pulled of looking really big next to Collins considering he does not stand well anymore and is clinically obese so its unfair to judge since he's probably shrunk with age and weight. Collins even remarked about how massive seagal looked upon first seeing in him on set in Canada.

Actually it seems Alan Carr is 5'10" and is taller than Justin Lee Collins in most pics. How tall would you estimate Justin Lee Collins to be then Rob. I think he had about 2 inches on Moyles.

Justin Lee Collins really looks no more than average height. He's not short but he's definitely not on the tall side. I'd estimate him to be 5'9" or 5'10". Seagal really did not look 6 or 7 inches taller than him.

I also noticed how he covers his stomach when sitting with a cushion or his arm.Recently he looks to have gained even more weight. 25 stone I think is a little exagerrated but he certainly looked 23 stone range to me if you consider how tall he is and the weight he is carrying. yea a strong 6 ft 4 for him I like him sometimes but he gets old too much cause nobody ever beats him I scene I like I believe it was in Above the Law Steven 6 ft 4 probably 140-160 pounds then beat up a guy 6 ft 6- 6 ft 7 a good 240-255 pounds and just wrecked him now hes still probably the same height but he has gained alot of weight

I agree, anything under 5'6" and above 6'6" for a guy could only be really described as being VERY BAD. A legit 5'10" is a credible height and you will be taller than most women anyway... There is a lot more to what women find attractive than "height"...

James do you realise that virtually NOBODY loses height in their 30s? It is rare for anybody to shrink before they are 50, seriously. Seagal was the same height at 26 as he was at 36 and I'm not buying the extra weight shrinking the spine thing. Everybody shrinks during the day but then they wake up again and start off taller again. But generally you don't start shrinking until old age kicks in. Some of the seirous bodybuilders begin losing height in their 40s early because of the effect on the joints and pressure on the spine. But it is virtually unheard of for people in their 30s to lose height. Seagal in my view was 6'4.5" peak and now may have lost half an inch give or take now being 58 or 59 but if he did lose any height it would have been in the last ten years, certainly not before.

Seagal also looked potentially 194cm when fighting tommy lee jones in Under Seige. And yes he did look 6'5 with Tom Arnold in Exit Wounds.

Yes Frank2 he was ineed losing his hair. It was only noticeable in Above the Law and Hard to Kill. I think he had a hair transplant around 1990 or 1991. He has always have a prominent receding forehead but you can see in Above the Law how his hair was going.

Watched Glimmer Man last night and watched closely Seagal and Keenan. When they walked past each other or stood side by side fully straight Seagal is 1-1.5 inches taller. 6'4"-6'4.5" for Seagal is about right if Keenan is 6'3".

Indeed both are masters of their art. Well let me see. Seagal is well over 100 pounds heavier and about 7-8 inches taller. Yet Chuck is still fit and active unlike the bloated Seagal. Despite his weight Seagal is still lightening quick at aikido. Dunno one thing that has always surprised me is how quickly Seagal can move for a huge man, I'd sure like to see how he'd dodge Chuch's rapid kicks. Yeah James it seems the films he is wearing cowboy boots or boots he gis 6'5" without, 6'4". Watched him earlier standing in the hangar in Exective Decision and this guy dwarfed B.D Wong who is around 5'7" I believe and all the other costars. Looked every inch of 6'4".

A man that tall and BIG probably wears XXXL shirts is undoubtedly going to weigh a ton. 280-300lbs IS by no means an exaggeration it is very realistic. In English money I'd say the guy is around 20 stone nowadays which is approximately 280lbs maybe 21 stone. The most I've weighed is 225 about 16 stone and Seagal is WAY bigger than me in body mass.

Seagal probably gave the illusion of being taller in Above the Law because he was really slim. Still I think he's bit taller than 6ft4. Not quite 6ft5 though. 6ft4.25?

I believe he was 6'4.5" at peak barefoot. He looks it on the mat for sure, that was 1988. I doubt though he was the full 6'5" as in those boots of his he was be pushing 6'7" which we know is way too high for Seagal. One things for sure you realise just how tall he is in Above The Law because he is so thin and does look unusually tall.

I think Seagal is a classic case of a very tall guy wanting to look even bigger. You has shown on numerous occasions that it important to him, didn't somebody say he bought a pair of shoes two sizes too big. Clearly a big guy, but if you see him walking past a much taller guy at the railway station in Under Siege 2 and the photograph of him with his dead brother in that film he is inches shorter than both of them. I can't see him any taller than 6ft4. He definately wasn't the same height as Everett McGill who is listed at 6 ft 5. Definately isn't 6'5 bare foot.

Supposedly, he normally wears a size 12, but he wanted everybody to think that his feet were bigger than life, like himself! If he went through all of this trouble for his footprint, he CERTAINLY would do anything to improve his height!

dmeyer, Seagel can look as low as 6ft2 sometimes but for most of his carrer has looked 6ft3.5 to 6ft4 minimum and on rare occassions can look in the 194cm region to 196cm thanks to his boots.

I watched Above the Law/Nico a couple nights ago and thought he only looked 6'2'' and change consistently through the whole movie. Awesome movie if you like 80's action stuff, non-stop action through out.

There's no deniying this guy in most of his films looks a solid 6ft4 although I think sometimes he can look a bit below it like 6ft3ish. I was amazed though how tall he looked in 'Today you Die' in some scenes they managed to make him look 6ft6.

As for me, i have friends very very talented in martial arts, high level ones and they all say the same: this guy is unbelievable ! By the way, it is very difficult to do aïkido at this level and cheat and impossible to do it with lifts, already hard with cow boy boots as he wears. Why getting someone down like this; In this case, that needs to provide real evidences.
