Patrick Swayze graduated from Waltrip High School in 1971 when he was 18 years old (He's from August 1952). Shelley Duvall graduated from Waltrip in 1967 when she was 18 years old as well (She's from July 1949). Undertaker graduated in 1983, so it makes more sense to me that he's from 1965 as that would make him also 18 years old when he graduated (unless he was a very bad student), even though a lot of sites give 1962 as his birth year.

I would really need alot more proof to Taker huge height loss to accept that he went from 6'8 to 6'6,5.

Taker stopped looking as LONG as he used to be (2000 and before). I know he has had serious injuries and has had some surgeries, so I figure he has lost height. That coupled withe the fact that he is in his late 40's now and has been wrestling for 20 years, I can GUARANTEE that if he was ever a FULL 6'8" he is no longer that height today. I give him 6'6 1/2"-6'7" today.

Videos are insignificant because they are filmed at different angles, therefore making it hard to tell. Pictures are taken where the target could be either closer, farther then other targets in the pic so dismiss that stuff. In ring staredowns are tricky too because someone who is 6'2 can look almost the same height as someone who is say 5'11 because of distance between lengths of neck, head and shoulders. So the closer you are to someone, the shorter you appear and the shorter you measure up to them even though you have them by more than 2 inches. So staredowns are tell about 40% of the story. Lifts are in every shoe, sneakers too. they are called the sole of the shoe. Its too hard to use that because outside soles are sometimes different levels then inside soles so you can save that comparison. The only real thing to go with is what they are measured with good old fashion measuring tape, or wall scale. Against measuring tape and wall scale he is measured at 6'10. therefore barefeet he would be either 6'8 or 6'9. Kevin Nash with shoes against the tape was in at 6'11.5 almost 7'0. Therefore he is 6'9 or 6'10 barefoot. Big Show is in at 7'2 like before. barefoot he would be 7'0 or 7'1. Peak height is before surgeries and severe health injuries and what not but Taker is under 54 yrs old and has not really had severe tendon and ligement surgery to the point where he would shrink. That is highly doubtful. Especially coming in that close the the Giant Sinh was impressive. Morning, Noon and Night are all the same height scientifically by the way.

It's obvious A-Train has help in his boots. Everybody here knows that Nash/Diesel is taller than Undertaker, everybody with half a brain knows Nash/Diesel has a larger build than Undertaker, the problem is you in your own world believe the difference is that Nash is 2 inches taller and use the most rediculous photograph to illustrate that. Where as everyone else who looks at my photo can see the camera is even with no advantage to either wrestler the gap is clearly less than 2 inches, barely over an inch if you take account of Nash's big hair. The latter is clearly something you dont take account of, thats why the top line running through Nash's head is his hair, look at the light passing through the top sections.
So what if Nash appears much taller than Taker, compared to Taker is taller than Nash when the camera swings their way? The camera man is not going to move excatly in the opposite side of each man, and one thing is for sure I dont claim Taker is 1 inch taller than Nash even though I can post a rediculous photo like yours to "prove" it.

Want to throw this out there, here's the majority of Undertaker vs. Atrain from Summerslam 2003 Click Here I actually have this match on VHS somewhere. There's no staredown or anything but it appears to me Albert does have bigger boots. It's hard with the video but in general they look chunkier, see 3:20 and 5:20. Not a bad match either.

A-Train is an awful person to judge people's height against. He always wore enormous boots.
When he was tag partners with Big Show in early 2003, he used to look almost as tall as Show, and we all know he's nowhere near his height.

Well Tuga thats a hard one i seen them @ different times and Nash was wearing cowboy boots both men looked really tall especially Nash becaose he has long legs and whats funny Sid did not Appear that tall to me when i seen him for some reason....Again Taker told me he was 6ft 9 and he did appear that height to me but again i really did not know what 6ft 9 looks like.. All i could say he was taller thn 6ft 6 that i would bet the House on and yes it was back in 93 but he is my age or alittle younger than me so i dont believe he shrunk

well hows it going room? frank you around still? anyway, i read the responses and looked at that pic of nathan jones and taker in the ring. they werent standing exactly next to each other. taker was a little closer. now the thing that gets me is, taker in 2001 looked almost the same height as atrain. now right before the wrestlemania where taker fought big show and atrain, there was constant feuding between jones, atrain, show, and taker. and there was a segment backstage with nathan jones and atrain. jones appeared to have roughly 3 inches on atrain, maybe 2.5 minimum. putting him about 6'9''. maybe a full 6'10'' in boots. now i would say barefoot atrain is 6'6'' maybe a strong 6'6''. with boots about 6'7.5''-6'8'' to be exact. now we all know big show is between the 6'11''-7'1'' range. that's barefoot and with boots. show had about 3-3.5 on jones, about 4 on taker, and about 4.5-5 on atrain. now depending on the boots with taker, I honestly believe that taker when wearing the lifts is anywhere from 6'8.5-6'9.5'' seeing the fact that jones wasnt much taller at all. i think jones has 1 full inch to an inch and a half on taker. but in flat boots i would give taker 6'8'' tops. and about 6'7''-6'7.5. tops barefoot. now i dont have evidence, but i live in southern wv. and we have an armory. there is an organization owned by a southern wrestler named shady. in 2005 kevin nash had made an appearance at the show. nash had faced disco inferno in the main event. nash also had a life sized stand up of himself by the door. the stand up was a legit 6'10''. and asked to see how you measure up with big sexy. im exactly 6ft even with tennis shoes, i wear Reebok classics all the time. disco inferno was a little taller than i was in his boots, and a tad shorter after the show signing autographs. i have never met the undertaker personally, but i had nash, and i had to look straight up at nash. he wasnt the nicest of individuals either. but id say with boots nash is a legit 6'10-6'10 1/2''! 6ft is not short, and i had to look straight up at the man. my hand to god is was enormous! the tallest wrestler i have seen personally soo far. and subtract about 1.5-2 inches and you would have takers height. but i think just as everyone else, that those boots and lifts make the difference each and every single time! hollar back frank...

The WWE got new rings shortly after the Mankind and Undertaker Hell in a Cell match. If you notice, they bounce more and the ropes are higher and much more sturdy. Pre-2000 the ring was rougher and the ropes were closer together and much more loose, which I think made it easier for people like Charles Wright and Test for example to step over the top rope. Now pretty much the only guys that do it are Big Show, Khali, sometimes Kane and once in a blue moon Undertaker.

Yes, While Taker had around an inch on ALbert, I believe Albert's footwear was suspect (lifts). Like you said Tuga, if Taker is in the 6'6" area then that would downgrade other wrestlers as well - especially the big men which I have said before and will say again if he keeps getting downgraded.

I think Snitsky's a tall guy as well. I saw him go nose to nose with Kane once and he was only about an inch and a half shorter. I'd put him around the same height as guys like Test and JBL.

Height measure, your new to this site and i'd just like you to consider watching some of the videos/pictures posted in height comparison. WWE does not bill their wrestlers their ligit height. Wilt chamberlin and andre have a picture together wilt is 7'1'' and andre is standing next to him a hair shorter.

When you see him lock up with the likes of Randy Orton and Edge, he doesn't look that much 'thicker' than they do, and he actually looks skinny next to guys like Batista and Kane.

The problem is that we can't see their feet in the video. We know that Taker and Sid were basically the same height in their stare downs and we know that Nash as Diesel was clearly taller (at least 2-3 inches) than Sid.

The guy who did that interview was Todd Petengil and he was wearing major lifts I met him and have a picture with him and i was about 3 to 4 inches taller than him and in that interview was looked taller than Paull Bearer who was about 5ft 10....So these guys can wear lifts to boost them 3 or more inches

yeah dave meltzer says the guy that owned the pontiac silverdome (or someone high up working there) told him there were only 78,000 at WM3, the problem i have with that is that the seating capacity in the stands alone in the pontiac was 80,300 in 1987 and that wouldn't take into account anybody on the field. personally i don't believe there were over 93,000 there (that was just a gimmick to attain the record attendance) but it looked closer to 85,000 than the 78,000 be spoken, the pope attracted something like 97,000+ a few months later to the pontiac didn't he, or maybe i am wrong??

He could have possibly loss height since then. I can buy a 6'7" Undertaker, I think that's realistic. Personally, I still put him at 6'8" just due to any time he actually stands up straight.

I never met Hogan Danimal but i have seen Charles Wright he walked right by me to go into Madison Square Garden about 13 years ago and i remember his height did not impress me 6ft 4 topps but i can assume Wright and Hogan were very close in height

Michelle McCool seems like a legit taller girl - probably not too far off her 5'10" billing and that may even be correct! Could it be - a billing for a person on the current WWE roster that is actually their billed height? I think so. Looks like Take and her are on a sidewalk and barrign a bad finishing job, I'd say the ground level is pretty smooth and even; this photo is one that may very well prove Taker is still just about as tall as he's been - still close to 6'8" TODAY.

That picture was posted well over a year ago on this site. We cannot see the ground level to know if it is even. If it is, she is NO WAY 5'10.5". BTW, Taker looks horrible in that pic. VERY old looking and thinner than he had been in years, if ever!!

Grace doesn't realize that wrestlers are not their billed height. Most newcomers to this site do not realize that people and especially wrestlers are not their billed heights. Rule of thumb is a 2-3" height increase for pretty much EVERY SINGLE wrestler's height.

Yea, actually I remeber at the last Royal Rumble Michael Cole described Undertaker s "6 foot 11" LOL Cole is the one who tends to exagurate the heights the most, he often refers to Khali as 7'4" also.

They have tried to pass UT of as 6'11 and even 6'0 at times but almost all his career he was at 6'10. Today they still do that and have Kane at 7'0 while Kane isn't 2 inches taller. More like an inch.

I met the Undertaker a few years ago when the WWE was in Phoenix. He looked between 6'7 and 6'8. There is no way he is below 6'7 Barefoot. Also, I think he is taller than Kane. Look at Kanes Boot's verses Takers.

I do remember someone saying UT was 6'6-6'7 and then Monsoon said no way, hes at least 6'9 which was what they billed him at first. It was soon changed to 6'10 1/2.

Actually, he was originally billed at 6'9"-6'10" when he made his intro. Then they put him at 6'10.5" (with shoes and his hat!!). I also remember a 6'11" listing for a short period too (around 1993-1994).

Did anyone notice in the "This Is My Yard" DVD that Pat Patterson said something along th lines of "we got this kid up here and he's about 6 foot 8" - he said about 6 foot 8 for sure. Now taht would tell me Take was around or was 6'8" at that time which sounds reasonable. So Taker IMO probably was 6'8" at peak and I really don't think or see that he lost much height - if any at all.
