Still taller than Braun Strowman. Evidenced the last time they were in the ring together. Viscera listed at 6'6.5", while 'Taker now listed at just 6'6" is hilarious. Taker and Kane as close to the same height as 2 ppl could be. Definitely closer to 6'8" in his prime.

Also I’m surprised the people like taker, Kane and Nash didn’t lose that much height from there peak. Taker only losing a 1-1.25 inches from his peak and Kane and Nash possibly only losing a .75 to an inch from there peak unlike people like big show and hogan. Imo I think big show is no taller than 6’9 to max 6’9.5 now and hogan is only 6’2.25 now who I think his peak was 6’5 at best maybe worst case 6’4.75.

There were, at their peaks, max 3 inches.
To be honest Orton 192.5 Taker 199.5 cm when they faced off.
Today I see about 2-2.25 inches difference, Orton 192 Taker 197cm.

Taker did always claim 6'8", which is likely a peak height with his gear on.

Can’t believe this but it looks like Rob Gronkowski (6’6 1/4”) is currently taller than Undertaker (6’6”).

He is lucky to have lost only 1.25 inches off his peak, but guys like Hogan, Ric Flair, Roddy Piper and Big Show can’t say that. Those guys lost 2+ inches off their peak.

In my opinion Nash was 6'9" peak barefoot. Today he is about 6'8"1/4 I think but I wouldn't guess higher than that.

@riky People just need to come to the conclusion that Sid was only 6’6 in his peak and now is only 6’5 max now. Taker had a solid .75 to 1 inch on Sid and Mabel which would make him a solid 6’7 in his peak.

Remember an old old match between him and Diesel in the early 90s where he was in flat soled shoes and Diesel was in heeled shoes. Still taker looked just 1-1.5 inch shorter than him. He may look 6'6" now because of multiple knee replacement and hip replacement surgeries but he was definitely a solid 6'8" in his prime.

Agree with the peak for sure but I disagree with current. He can still look near 6’6” today in some of the pics and the encounters with other posters so the 6’5.5” probably is a worst case as opposed to a best case.

Maybe it's a possibility that Strowman lose less height during the day compared with Undertaker who at this stage struggles to keep a good posture too.
I mean strowman has a more solid posture, he really almost never duck or look down at his opponent in the ring, and outside "he walks taller" than undertaker for sure.

With all this I mean that probably when they wake up they would be closer in height compared to the evening.
But most in general Strowman is slightly taller, not an inch

If you compared taker next to lesnar or reign and strowman next to lesnar or reigns, strowman is clearly taller than taker in every staredown with probably a fraction less footwear. @Riky: I’d bet money that Strowman is taller if they measured. He looked close in height with Tyson Fury. Rob’s listing for him is close enough, maybe 6’6.25, But Taker is max 6’6”. The picture Bros of Destruction posted proves that. And that’s “max”. He could look as low as 6’5.5” at times but I would say generally he looks 6’5.75” or so. 6’6” is ok for him because he could likely measure that at lunch being a bigger/taller guy who could stand to lose a full inch. If Strowman is the same height as Taker it means Strowman is only 6’6” flat too but then again a poster met him here once and said he only looked 6’6”. I will say that he only had 1/4” or a cm on Baron Corbin once and Corbin is max 6’6” as well

Now I doubt about it. But let's say that Love isn't that tall as a low but more like 6'7.5. To me he is more 6'7.5 rather than 6'7" flat which it's more LeBron territory.

When Love met Taker it was I believe evening, or late afternoon because he also took a picture with Webber(?) outside the building and it was dark if I remember.

Love did wear max 1.5 inches shoes but it could have been just 1.25 because I dont think those were the same shoes he wears to play basketball.
Undertaker had no less than 1.75/1.5 inches boots.

We must be honest, bad posture or not Taker was shorter. It wasn't just an inch. I would say that counting these factors undertaker looked max 6'5.5/6'5.25 back then.

He looked that range also with T. 6'8"/6'8.25 Thompson but there we don't see Thompson footwear.

He looked closer to 4 inches than 3 shorter than 6'9.5 Kanter.

He is shorter than Corbin, barely. And Corbin also drop under 6'6" I suspect during the day. In 2017 undertaker looked shorter than Corbin, sure no taller.


The guy can't be the full 6'6" today, he is max 6'5.5.

If the Angle is to be factored, then shouldn't Strowman, being closer, appear taller? Footwear should also be considered too, fi they are all wearing their usual wrestling boots, which seem to add 2" each.

Knowing Rob has hard time to downgrade someone drastically I would say that 6'6" it's already a pretty good listing today. But as you also say from few months 6'5.75 would be just perfect on this site.
I saw Taker list at 197cm even somewhere else, that is also my personal guess for him.

With strowman today I think he is shorter but not by an inch. There is between 1 and 2 cm max. I would say 198.5cm Vs 197cm both men barefoot.
I'm sure Corbin Strowman and Taker are all 3 men in 0.5 of an inch. And Kane same height as Strowman or btw 199cm max.

Btw to be honest undertaker looked 6'5" range (which does not necessarily means just 196cm) most of the times in pictures in the last 3-4 years.
I remember a few of them as Fallon, Love, T. Thompson, Ike, Kanter.
No taller than Rodman, Corbin, strowman that are all 6'6". Maybe Corbin even 6'5.75.

Taker has gradually lost height since 2000. I believe he is at best 6'5.5" today. As for his peak height, I used to think he was a full 6'8", but if Sid Vicious was only 6'6" at his peak (according to the man himself), I can live with 6'7" for Undertaker at his peak, because he WAS taller than 6'6" Mabel/Viscera in their late 90's stare downs, but then again Taker could have been just shy of 6'7" at his peak.

I have never met braun but i did see him at a live event and i was pretty close to the ring if i was to make a comparison between him and taker well it's hard to tell i'd say they looked very similar but i can't tell you with certainty who is actually taller between the two

And today he is no more than 6'5"1/4 in my opinion.

In the Chapter 04 of "The Last Ride", Taker clearly looked taller than Braun Strowman when they were standing too close next to each other and also with Taker slightly bending to his left. It goes to show that Braun Strowman (without his big boots) is not taller than either Kane or Taker.

No way there's only 2" difference between the two.

Btw Sid's claim doesn't mean jack sh*t, tallish people often don't even know how exactly tall they are.
I have a friend who has been claiming 192cm for years and when we measured him he was actually 195 without even standing as tall as possible ( like most of us 5'11er will do when measured )..

6'6 is just something people using the imperial system will say for commodity same way in Europe we will say he is " 1m90 " for a 192 or 193 guy or " He is 2M tall " for a guy that ranges from 1.97-2m02..
And remember even Mamun's cousin who is 6'6 was slightly shorter than past his prime, post horrendous leg break Sid, who was 199 ( current height ) on this site back then.

@Ben Bell met Nash tiwce in 1995, had pics with him, no way he was under 207cm ( I asked him and he told me 6'11 back then which was probably his shoe height or very close to it) , looked 30 cm taller than myself and I was 177 on the spot back then, measured less than a month before meeting him as a teenager.

Met him in 1995 at California's Great America when he " was " Kama, was there with his family.
There is no way in hell he was under 6'4 back then ( I'd say a strong 6'4.5 personally ) because I was with one of my best friend who is 186cm and he absolutely towered over him.
Btw the way the guy was HUGE, must have been way over 300 in 320 territory, first thing I thought when seeing him was " does he make the weight/size limit of the roller coasters ? "
Taker didn't look more than 2 inches smaller to me during their face offs at this time.

Im curious about one thing.
I was watching few segments of the documentary "The last ride".
I saw Taker talking to jbl and Taker was much taller than him. It seemed over 2 inches. More than what I saw during their feud in TV.
The same with Randy Orton, with him Taker looked huge like minimum 3 inches..
But then he also looked slightly shorter than Kane and not taller as you would expected next to McMahons or most of all next to Austin.

Last Ride Chapter 4 confirms it. Kane is taller than the undertaker. Not sure if that was always the case or taker has lost significant height but there is a section in the first half of the documentary where Kane is clearly taller. Interestingly, there is also a clip of taker and Braun Strowman together where they look quite similar in height.

However, when I saw a current Kane in person, he didn’t look as low as 6’6” flat. Without the footwear advantage, he looked near 6’7”. With the footwear advantage, he looked near 6’8”.

Kane was only casually walking around, yet he stood out too much, among the crowd. I wouldn’t be surprised if he measured over 6’6” flat for sure, not less than 6’6.5” and maybe 6’6 3/4”. Absolute worst.

@Kane: I know you posed the question to Rob but my guess would be that Corbin May edge him by 1/4” or they may be identical. More likely that they’re identical or so close that it’s too hard to tell. People made a big deal about Corbin and Rob Gronkowski when In reality Gronk was not taller than Corbin. Both guys were likely early morning combine measurements. Corbin is likely just a solid 6’6” and if Taker is, it’s the same. Both guys could even be in the 6’5.75-6’6” range in reality

Canson, Andre was listed 6'10 in UK and France in late 60s so it's unlikely he was taller than that. Wight looks taller than 6'11 flat in those 91-93 basketball photos. In my opinion based on alot of video comparison standing next to same people peak Wight was taller than peak Andre.

Strowman and Taker video seems to be favouring those on the right hence why Taker looks taller than Strowman and Reigns looks taller than he should next to Taker.

In this case undertaker looks 6ft6 at most.. I see at least an inch over undertaker eyes if not more. And you are not pull the line on the top of his head, but on the top of his hair so you are increasing the height probably 3/4 of an inch. if you think he’s near 6ft7, taller than 6ft6 1/2 , the top of 6ft2 guy head should be about taker eye level and I really don’t see this.

Sid today is 6ft5 flat. Judging by the mugshot he is near 6ft6 in shoes, so it’s not possible he’s 6ft5 1/2 barefoot because every shoes, boots ecc gives over half of an inch. So I don’t know why you still go with 6ft5 1/2, but do you think that undertaker in shoes is near 6ft7 today ?

It’s difficult to judge undertaker height because most of the time he stand in terrible posture.. the most that I give him is 6ft6 1/4 and repeat the most. First of all i’m not suggesting 2.5 inch. Goldberg is 6ft2 flat and in that segment he looks well over undertaker eyes. I said 6ft5, so 3 inches.
Second thing undertaker eye level is about 5.2 inch like rob said, so in the middle of his eyes he have about this distance to the top of head.
Third if you pull a line in the photo I posted, Goldberg is about 2 inches over is eyes easily.
I don’t say taker is only 6ft5, I said in this pic looks that but the camera at times help the shorter guy.

Taker wasn't under 6'7 prime.

That being said him and Sid were very close in height. I've still got Sid at 6'6.5/6'6.75, throughout the 90's he always looked that, unless he was always in lifts.

Today I think if Taker stands as straight as physically possible he would still be a hair over 6'6. In a recent staredown with a booted 6'4.5 McIntyre, he still had over an inch on him and his posture around the neck was absolutely terrible.

I met taker in 94, he was huge but it was peak cowboy boot era.
I met Taker and Sid last year and they both seemed 6’5 to 6’6 max.

Peak barefoot taker at 6’6 isn’t out of the question but I’ll never argue anything definitively.

The only time taker ever looked his billed height was meeting UFC fighter Tim Silvia in 03. Apart from that I can’t think of a time any wrestler has matched up to somebody in mainstream sports with a similar billed height. Even Kane with 6’5 Vince Vaughan or Teller the magician.
All those basketball players looking taller than taker a couple of years ago who were billed at the same height.

6’6 is very tall, nothing wrong with that.
I never stood near big show but I was fairly close to ringside in 03 and he didn’t seem as tall as I expected.

With all that being said I’ve met Nash twice and I would have said 6’9 min. He was HUGE, noticeably taller than Sid and taker. If anything my judgement is probably off with Nash.
In the last few years I’ve met a ton of wrestlers. The only one who was taller than I expected was Jesse Ventura who was at least 6’3. Even Sting was only 6’1”.

I may be wrong about big show..but I don't think he would have measured more than 209 cms in prime. Rob had snitsky at 6'6 once . But his real prime measurement was only 6'4.5 and now the listing is changed. Similarly most of the wrestles are atleat one inch shorter than their heights listed in this site. When Kane faced snitsky he was only 3 to 4 cms taller. Atrain/ tensai / mattbloom and snitsky had a picture together and they were exactly the same height. check Matt blooms Instagram. He looks max 6'4 now.. so his peak height would have been max 6'5 and he was only slightly shorter than peak Kane and taker. Sid appears like 12 cms taller than sting. That's because sting was only 186 in his prime and not 6'2. Kurt angle once said most of the wrestlers are atleast 4 inches shorter than their listed heights.

Mahesh, for one majority of those wrestlers you named never stood next to Sid so why should we lower their heights?

Secondly I researched 155 college basketball players over passed five years who were measured 6'5 or more barefoot at NBA combine. Only 3 were listed 2.5 inches more in college than they measured barefoot. So at worst if Wight was listed 7'1 in college he was 6'10.5 barefoot but that's at worst because vast majority of players measured within 2 inches of their listings meaning it's unlikely Wight was less than 6'11 barefoot if he was listed 7'1 in college.

Third Sid is a well known bs artist, right up there with Hogan. Maybe he is telling the truth but that would put him no taller than Gronk or Corbin (both measured just over 6'6 barefoot) yet he looked taller in a WWE ring than both. So either a. He is lying or b. He had footwear advantage every time on tv

Lesnar has been measured 6ft2 3/8 at nfl combine so I doubt the rock and Batista were only 6ft2 flat and sheamus 6ft1.5... big show 6ft10 peak wouldn't make any sense and considering that corbin has been measured 6ft6 1/2 at nfl combine and looks at least half of inch shorter than sid did when he faced a 6ft2 guy... i have no doubt that sycho sid was a good 6ft6 1/2 and for sure not shorter than strowman in his peak

I keep posting this. Best evidence of Undertakers size in general. We know there are camara tricks all the time in wrestling. Yes there is an angle here. But still best evidence of how big Undertaker was. No question he's dropped height to 6'6" or a bit. But peak is above 6'7.5". Poor choice to reduce him further on here.

Frank who posts here has maintained Sid looked no taller than 6'6 out of gear 25-30 years ago when he met him.

Sometimes wrestlers look taller in gear, Albert/A-Train is another example. He looks 6'7+ in gear but in person 6'5 at most

Undertaker outside the ring in 2014, was 6'6.5, no way that, he was below 6'7 peak height. that would put Big Show at 6'10 peak, Kane 6'6.5 peak, Nash 6'8.5, Nash wasn't more than two inches taller than Undertaker(peak height), also who knows, Maybe Sid was using Lifts?, he often was on his tip-toes too, remember that at Wrestlemania 13,Undertaker easily looked over 1 inch taller than Sid. By the way, Undertaker as American Bad Ass in 2000-2001 looked bit taller than he looked in 1998-1999, especially next to Kane and Other Big Guys. Thing is, Big Show for 100%, never was 7 ft, 6'11 peak at best, Nash bit above 6'9.

I’ve never seen any evidence of Taker having height on Sid. In USWA and WWF they stood face to face as tall as possible many times and there was nothing in it.
Taking variable in to account I could give taker 0.5” perhaps. I could also say Sid had 0.5” as well.
I have to say he’s equal to Sid. 6’6 barefoot.

Taker did wear lifts in the late 90’s as did Kane.
He was closer in height to Nash and Show than he should have been. It was more noticeable when he took the lifts out as American Bad Aas and he was next to Austin and Vince. He looked way shorter.
Going off Sid’s admission I’d say 6’9 peak Nash. There must be a legit basket ball listing for him and show, I’d guess taker as well.
Perhaps as Rob says Sid was over 6’6 slightly but doesn’t really care and just says 6’6.
Having met Nash, Sid and Taker in person I had Sid down as 6’5, Taker at 6’5.5-6’6. Nash on the other hand felt at least 6’9 to me. He was HUGE.

Hard to argue with Rob’s estimates on all the wrestlers he’s met now as they seem very accurate.

One interesting one is Hogan. Sid has around 1.5” on him in 92. 6’4.5 92 Hogan.

I remember Meltzer and Powerslam magazine referring to Sid as 6’6 at times.
With that low listing from his mouth it throws all wrestler heights in to question.
He said on an earlier podcast his max bench was 425lbs which is way less than people would guess. He actually seems a very good honest man.

Real difference between Taker and Batista outside the ring easily OVER 4 inches, Batista is standing bit closer to the Camera, and Undertaker posture is not perfect either.
Batista in 2007 was probably around 6'2.5(190 cm) + lifts, Undertaker was near 6'7 or flat 6'7 in 2007.

Watched the first part of Undertaker’s Last Ride documentary yesterday. There’s numerous occasions in it where he looks sub 6,6” next to various people, just watch it and you’ll see. He generally gives the impression of a 6,5” guy.

But what you also notice watching him in day to day life out of the ring is just how crippled he is. He can’t turn his head properly, neck and back look very siezed up and his posture is terrible. Does make you think there’s a good chance he’s lost some significant height.

I don’t buy that he was ever a 6,8”+ guy in his prime but maybe before his body was ruined by decades of punishment he might have stretched out to 6,7”.

Nowadays it’s anyone’s guess, he’s certainly not over 6,6” though.

Take a look at that video again and pause it when Taker gets in the ring and he's standing straight as Kane is outside by the ropes. Take a look at the top rope. Look at Undertaker, then look at Kane (From the top rope vertically), Kane has more height than Taker from the top rope.

Kane here is at his very peak (I believe 202 - just above 6'7.5 meaning 6'7 and 3/4ths)

Taker here is probably 6'7.25 (in his boots - without them, 6'6.75).

@Pablo, I am refering to the "Battle of the Giants" storyline in WCW between Kevin Nash and The Giant. Nash was billed at 7'1, Giant at 7'4.

I don't believe I underestimate Taker. There is a Russian celeb heights that has markings to the side.. It shoes Kane at 202 peak, and taker at 200 peak.

Kane and undertaker was the same height in my opinion. Maybe when they went face to face, taker tilted his head up because his eye level is very low, but that doesn't mean he’s smaller.

Taker around 200cm (in boots around 2000-2001).

Today, Taker is 197cm. Nash - 204cm. (I believe Nash had dropped to around 201cm before he had surgery that straightened him back up an inch).

Kane was around 202cm in his biggest boots.

When you think about it, it isn't that far fetched that Undertaker was 6'6.5 and wore 1 inch soles to be 6'7.5 and be promoted as 6'10.

Kane needed to be promoted as 7 feet for 2 reasons. 1 - He needed to be bigger than The Undertaker. 2 - During the time that Kane was debuting, WCW had a "Battle of the Giants" storyline going.. If you guys remember, Kevin Nash was being promoted as being 7'1, while The Giant was 7'4. Vince thought that they needed a "giant" that was at least 7 feet thus the listing for Kane.

Undertaker - 6'6.5 Peak. Kane - Peak: a little over 6'7 (maybe a cm - maybe)

I've said the same thing in the past about guys like Taker and Hogan, that yes, they might look a certain height, but still manage to eek out a bit more if pushed for a measurement.

@Editor Rob: I agree on both. Hogan can look sub 6’3 and it wouldn’t surprise me if he straightened up and pulled out 6’3.25 range still. However Taker can look 6’5. I doubt he’s that low but I would say that 6’6” flat is probably as high as he would actually measure. That’s if he can reach that high. But I highly doubt he’s going to stand straight enough to still measure 6’6.25” in the afternoon. That’s around where he would have been with Ali Baba years ago maybe 199 or 6’6.5. He’s not taller than Corbin Today I doubt and a guy like Strowman looks taller. He’s needed the 6’6 flat for quite some time now. You even said people you know who have met him don’t think he’s as tall as he’s billed or listed (previously at 6’6.5)

At most Adams was 6'5 but he doesn't look it with Wight in WCW or Hogan. If Crush was 6'6 then Hogan was 6'5 1/4 - 6'5 1/2 in 1997 and Rodman then becomes taller than 6'8

Undertaker was NEVER taller than Kane.. Let me guess, you're referring to a the photo 2 years ago of them at Glenn's Knox County Event.. @Undertaker Frank.. Brian Lee is not Crush.. (He was Crush's henchman in the group DOA - Which had 4 members that were huge - Brian ADAMS was Crush - The leader of the group. He stood at 6'5.25. Skull and 8-Ball (The twins stood at about 6'5.5) and Brian Lee (Chainz) stood at 6'4 - 6'4.25.

Look up Undertaker Vs Fake Undertaker at Summerslam 1994 - When they stand in a staredown - There's about 2 inches to 2 and a quarter between them, meaning Chainz was not under 6'4).

Undertaker - between 6'6.25 and 6'6.75 (With internal lifts - 6'7.5)

Bruce Prichard has claimed that Undertaker wore internal lifts - Thus was the reason in their first staredown (I think in Memphis) Sid was clearly taller. But When in the WWF, Taker had internal lifts and was taller than Sid.

Kevin Nash - Legit 6'9.

I believe Wrath was right there with Undertaker. If he had not, the photos I posted below, Taker would CLEARLY look taller even by a little, but he doesn't.

Powerslam the old UK non kayfabe mag had Clarke as 6'5 back in mid 90s. They said Crush was 6'4.

@treefroggy Yeah, that sounds about right. I've said Undertaker was 6'7" peak for awhile now. If he was 6'7.5" then that guy would have probably told you 6'8".

Long time ago... I was talking to some guy in a bar and we started talking about wrestling and I mentioned they exaggerate heights. I said Undertaker is not 6'10 and before I finished my sentence he said he's 6'7. He then says he knows some wrestlers and shows me some photos of different wrestlers (not Taker). These weren't normal fan photos unless he convinced wrestlers to hang out at his house or backyard.

Anyway, that doesn't mean this guy knows Taker's height for sure or that you should believe my story. I talked to that guy before I think this website existed. Interesting that years later this page says 6'7 1/2 although Rob may have had Taker at 6'8 in the past I can't recall. Rob, the guy I met, and all the other posters here have verified to me that Taker was 6'7 range peak.

Taker was huge probably the tallest in wwe at one point early 90s minimum at this time 6'8 Andre and studd were gone so in like 1991 92 he was the tallest sid was about 6'7 when he came in earthquake I don't think wrestled him which was strange he was about 6'6 Hogan probably 6'5.5 at this time then obviously Gonzalez 93 at about 7'7 diesel also came in at 6'10 that year

Kane mentioned how he had bad knees before. Even in college while he was playing football, he injured his knee so seriously that he wasn't allowed to play again. But thank god for that, as that's what lead Glenn into joining pro wrestling :)

Also yeah his knees arent in the best shape but its nothing like the Great Khali. I have a theory that having bad knees can be related to not working out legs (aka skipping leg day) but then building a massive 300lb+ physique up top and having your skinny legs carry all of it for years, years, and years lol. Probably what happened to Khali.

But if you seen Kane in the 90s it was obvious he didnt skip leg day

@Ced: that’s a possibility. I’d go with 6’7.5 as his max peak height but I could say anywhere 6’7-6’8 is possible. However Vegas claims to have met him in When he was in his 30s and he was 6’7” tops. If we go with 6’7” that’s not a full inch loss. He’s still over 6’6 today next to Lee Smith but if he’s 6’7.5 peak then that’s a 2 or 3cm loss perhaps. Right around an inch

I honestly believe Hogan was 6'4.5" barefoot on his best day and it appeared Undertaker had around 1.5"-2" on him like you said. Obviously Taker in the early 90s didn't have best posture but it's a case that should prove that over 6'7" is too high

Kane has definitely lost at least an inch from his peak.. (I think he was definitely 6'7.75 at his very peak, and is about 6'6.25 today..

The culprit? His knees. Take a look, as he's gotten older, his knees started to bend outward, (almost like the problem Matt Hardy had but with his legs..

If he was to straighten out his knees, I think Kane would gain about .5 of an inch.
