Serious? 5'4! Gosh, I would've guessed much lower. In hindsight, this actually makes sense - while she often looks petite on her own, people of average height don't dwarf her.

I'm from Iceland. I've met Björk many times. I can confirm that she's 5'4". She may seem so small, it's because of her very slender frame.

Okay Rob, I'm here in a hotel room in Atlanta waiting on some friends, on my trusty labtop on this site! I've even turned people onto this site. I should get paid for free advertisment! :-) Anyway, I saw Bjork in concert in '01 and was suprised at how 'tall' she was. I remember reading an article where the writer described her as being doll-like and diminutive yet in reality, she's average height for a female. (In the US that is) With heels on, she's around the same height as her current husband, Matthew Barney and when she was with Tricky, who is admittedly 5'8", she wasn't too much shorter. She comes across as being small and fairylike but she's really not.
