Rob, can I just ask how you can deduce shoe heel size to .10 of an inch?
[Editor Rob: I try to know how much height a lot of shoes and sneakers give by measuring lots of them.
If you know generally what certain styles are cut to, then you can get a good idea of what thickness a celebrities shoe might give. Same with heel heights for women.
For instance:
