Great comment. Although I don't fully agree, it's refreshing to see a comment that actually reflects reality. Guys on this site somehow erroneously believe that women are looking to get with the tallest guy possible. That may come into play more strongly in the teenage years, or the club scene, but when it gets more serious, women start to look for less superficial qualities like job stability, education, income and reliability although attractiveness is always a critical factor.
I have seen couples where the girl is slightly taller. Usually in this case the girl tends to wear flats and the guy dress shoes with a heel. These cases you can see a 5'11" girl with a 5'9" guy and it works. It is more difficult if the girl is over 6' but there are tall guys out there with brains and career potential. The best case scenario is if guys could get over this obsession with being taller than their partner and just be open to dating a taller woman. You know what cracks me up? I've seen AT LEAST 5 photos of Anil Kapoor standing along side Emraan Hashmi and Sushma Reddy. Anil (which many sites claim to be 5'11) is clearly and most evidently NOT 5'11. He's 5'9.5". Ive seen the show enginner is talking abt. Dipannita was the host and Yukta came as the girl who the guys were trying to impress. Both Dipannita & Yukta absolutely towered over the guys but Dipannita was in atleast 3" heels which bought her level with Yukta who was ib the flattest of flat footwear. All of the bollywood actors ... ok at least most of them add atleast 2 inches to their height. Most indian guys are 5'7 or 5'8. And btw, 6'0 = 5'12 and not 5'10 but many ppl hav that wrong notion and many of the actors take advantage of that, so when ak or john say they are 6'1 rest assured they are only 5'11.
