Was originally a Tin Pan Alley scribe, she’s a nice addition. A very petite women then and now. Tapestry was before my time a bit but her songs were definitely part of my childhood.

@ Rob and everybody - I know for a fact that I haven't listened to her music for literally decades. Maybe I'll introduce it to the foxes. 🎶
This morning, I woke up at 20 minutes to 4, giving plenty of time to feed the
furry clan, albeit a few hours later than usual. They were very pleased that I hadn't forgotten them, and the smaller bold one, Renard, came right up to me while I was singing along to Neil Young on my phone. He accesses my garden by climbing over the wall and yesterday night, he ate about 2 feet away from me. 😲😁👌
When the frying pan was empty, Renard started to move it around - hint hint! - and while I was fetching them more nosh, I came out to find Kevin was in my garden as well, waiting behind Renard.
😂😂😂
Another amazing surprise this morning was to find that I have an additional fox to feed. He's tiny, so I think he's a cub, and was cowering nervously while he was eating, and looking up. I don't reckon the timidness will last for very long though, if the others are anything to go by.

It's like a trip down memory lane today on Celebheights, either indirectly, as with the debut of HG Wells and the associated jolts back into the past with his books and films, or with Carole King, a singer who was in the charts when I was but a kid.
She goes back so far that I never so much as paused to wonder how tall she was. She was grown up and I was not, so she was a giant!
Still, it's good to know her height now.
