My daughter, who is 5'10" was walking ahead of her party in Vegas a couple of years ago, and walked into him. She didn't immediately catch on who he was (age gap showing between her and our generation), but he was very nice about it. Small, but not diminuative. About 5'7"-scraping 5'8" according to her, but she didn't catch his footwear. She was wearing flats at the time.

I knew him in the 70s in Utah. I am 6 feet tall and estimate him at 5'6.
