When I was a teen, all the Osmond fan club info had Donny listed as 5'9". Of course, that was 30 years ago. He may have shrunk an inch or so since then.

Donny is 5'9". As you get older, you lose some height gradually as the discs in your spine are not as "spongy" and they start compressing and deteriorating. He may be 1/2 inch shorter now, but the remarks about 5'6" and 5'7" are probably not true. I knw, because I have been 5'6" all my life and my doctor is now measuring me just above 5'5" and I am one year older than Donny. I also knew him when I was 15. MD says on 13/Nov/09
Did you mean to say your see about 5'8", because I still don't see that, but I think that's what you meant.

Donny is not over 5'8". When he said "5'7" on a good day", he really meant it.

I saw Donny Osmand at the Soaring Eagle Casino a few years ago. He came out and shook hands and I got to shake his. I am 5' 2" and he was ONLY and inch or two at the most taller than me. He is not 5' 8" My husband is 5' 9" and Donny was no where near his height. He is so tiny and cute, you just want to pick him up and put him in your pocket. Paula says on 5/Oct/09
I met him where he is performing at the Flamingo. He's 5'7" he even looked short on stage. I'm 5'8" and my friends are 5'11" and 6'he is shorter than me and they dwarfed the poor guy! Sam says on 15/Jan/09

Rob, you should downgrade this guy. He was a good deal shorter than Sanjaya Malakar (who is 5'9" and looked it next to Leno) on the Tonight Show.

He was just on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and next to a 5'9" American Idol reject Sanjaya Malakar, he looked a full inch or more shorter. 5'8" is the very top of the scale for him, and possibly shorter than that. He really did look tiny with Jay standing near by. GPM says on 20/Feb/07

Based on all the videos and pics, I'm going to say he's close to 5'9" but a bit off. His quip about being "5'-7" on a good day" was said just in jest. We also have to remember that he's nearing 50 years old believe it or not so I'm sure he's starting to lose height to age.
