The older Williams was a skinny drink-a-water and looked taller than Randall Hank, a much more heavy-set man, but that's what a few pounds in different places can do.

Hank Jr is a fairly tall man too. Probably around the 6'2" mark, according to most sources. Yeah, BOCEPHUS(Hank Williams Jr) was pretty rowdy in his day. He once fell 500 feet and had to get his whole face reconstructed. He was a hard man, not somebody you would want to mess with. ancient aztec guy says on 5/Apr/11
His son was probably around 6'2". But to respond to Sam's comment, Hank Jr was thin back in the late 70s early 80s. Sam says on 21/Feb/11
Yes, unlike his son, "Sr." was almost rail-thin. In pictures from that time, Hank Williams Sr. always looked quite tall compared to others, I'd buy no less than 6 feet. Anonymous says on 20/Feb/11
@Jesse. He's talking about Hank Williams Sr. Not Hank Jr. Hank Sr. didn't weigh no 200 lbs. I would say Hank Sr. Was around 5-11, 6-0ft height range Anonymous says on 10/Jan/11
Hank was supposed to be 6 foot one standing erect. However, he usually stooped over and therefore lost one inch off his height.
He had extremely long legs. Some of his friends from that era say he was the only person they ever met who could sit down in a chair, cross his legs, and still put both feet flat on the floor. I have always wondered just how long his legs were. Does anyone know? |
