I met then-Lieutenant Governor Fetterman in 2019. He had to be very close to 6'8" at minimum. I am a hair over 6'1" and had to tilt my neck upward to talk to him. Huge man. Crazy thing is that there was a guy in the audience that day who was even taller.

@Rampage and Mickie: I think 6’8 peak is fair and it’s probably his low for the day. In this case Rob isn’t sure how much over he would be during the day or at lunch. I can make a case for 6’8.25” if lunchtime. However I agree with Rampage with what he said to Andrew and what Mickie said that he fell under 6’8 in his prime. 6’9 out of bed is possible and 6’8 at his afternoon/evening. Today I can see the sort of range Mickie described though.

@ Rampage(-_-_-)Clover - normally I'd agree with you that assuming almost an inch of height loss at 53 would not be likely. But in Fetterman's case it's possible. He looked the full 6'8" in older photos. 6'8" and change if he measured earlier is totally believable. Now he looks shorter than that. The question is how much of it is him having lost measured height vs how much is his posture. Personally I think it's a mix of the two and I wouldn't list him more than 6'7.5" current height. He can look like he's struggling with 6'7" at times more recently but like I mentioned I think posture has to be accounted for and sometimes that might just be catching him in moments where he's slouching.

Allegedly he's weighed over 400 pounds in the past, and he's had a stroke not long ago. Kind of makes sense that he could be the kind of guy to have already lost visible height in his early 50s or whatever he presently is.

I don't think he looks 6'8" anymore. But he certainly seemed to in old photos. I think he's likely lost a little measured height and that his posture can make this look even more pronounced.

Apart from local Christopher Greener, the two tallest blokes I’ve known were 6ft7. One was a guy who did my hair from time to time and the other was a Hell’s Angel biker. He was still taller than me when I was standing on the stage of the night club.
The thing is, would a short person be able to tell an inch difference if two very tall people stood together? It’s hard to say really, unless we observed them together for a while. Somehow, I think it would be difficult.

Here he is with Obama on video recently (starting around 1:58:35) Click Here His posture might not be as good as Obama's is, but I certainly don't see 7+ inches between the two guys. Obama was right around 6'1", not sure if he's lost any height or not.
