I think these pics are deceptivly misleading regarding this guy's true height. Glenn's visual opinion should be given serious consideration on judging Paul's true stature.
Given the choice Glenn would you change the height from 5' 8.5"?

I'd love to downgrade Giamatti but on some occasions he really does look close to 174cm. It's strange though, he is probably the world's worst sloucher. Was he slouching when you saw him? Okay, you will disagree, but I have my own eyewitness account. I went to a screening of Sideways at the Fox Studio. I stoo next to Thomas Haden Church, and he is at best 5'10", maybe a little smaller. I stood next to Giamatti, and he is no more than 5'6". He seems taller on screen, but I saw him with regular shoes, and I towered over him at 5'11.5. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! |
