I'm not small. I'm 6ft 2 and they had to find female clothes to fit me, which was quite a challenge. We went to a shop in Marylebone, where you can buy heeled shoes for people of my size and gender, and the staff didn't bat an eyelid. I was just another tranny passing through. I had never walked in four-inch heels before and it's probably not something I'll try again.

Editor RobFrom seeing him in stuff, he always seemed to be one of those guys who looked in 6ft 2-3 range.
I suppose you could argue someone like Peter Bowles was similar - I remember an episode of the Prisoner he popped up in had a good inch on McGoohan - both claimed 6ft 2...
