In FMJ he looks by turns way taller and shorter than M. Modine depending shots. In many large ones, he looks not only very tall and taller than anyone else but also huge and huger than the others. A very intellignet and refined coloosal guy, which is very rare. His stature is aboslutely and visibly natural as are his immense mental and human abilities. I found another photo of D'Onofrio with Jesse L. Martin. Martin is now listed at 6ft1.25 (186cm). Did you downgrade Rob? I can remember that he was listed at 6ft1.5 (187cm).

Wow guys! Seeing Mathew Modine at 6'3.2; Jesse L. Martin at 6'1.5, Adam Baldwin at 6'4, Vince Vaughn at 6'5 and Mathew Lillard at 6'3.5- something is clearly not right in here.
Mathew Lillard looked consistently at least an inch taller than D'Onofrio in every scene they had standing next to each other in "Spanish Judges".
Mathew Modine looked an inch shorter than him in "Full Metal Jacket", yet Modine looked an inch shorter than Adam Baldwin too in thee.
Vince Vaughn looked more than an inch taller than D'Onofrio (tho he's already aging a bit an undeniably fat) in "The Break-up".
And Jesse L. Martin, who looks near 6'2 acording to many, still looks at least 4 inches shorter than (the probably shorter than peak) nowadays D'Onofrio in that picture posted below by xkon.
- I would bet D'Onofrio was wearing boots or was standing in higher ground in those pics (check the position of his legs in those pics, they seem awkwardly standing compared to Martin's).
- Adam Baldwin is a legit 6'4 (maybe a bit less nowadays), and there were some barefoot scenes of Modine and D'Onofrio together that pointed to at least 1" of difference (not a quarter of inch).
- Vince Vaughn is 6'5 flat, get over it, people. He has poor pusture and a big gut so he doesn't like to stand straight most of the times. If he can look that tall without trying too hard, is because he's that tall.
- Same thing with Lillard, he has bad posture, but he was standing properly next to D'Onofrio (both were in dress shoes), and Lillard didn't have any extra advantage regarding footwear or camera angles, yet he would easily looked an inch taller (but D'Onofrio was clearly overwight too).
- Still you could see D'Onofrio looked huge in size next to Lillard (who was not that skinny in "Spanish Judges"), the same next to Modine. And he was clearly a lot broader than Jesse L. Martin. He was probably even a bit broader than Vince Vaughn (who is himself a big broad guy). So I think everyone agrees D'Onofrio is a big bulky dude, so don't mess with him.
Regarding heights, my estimates are:
- Vince Vaughn - 6'5 (maybe a hair under 6'5 nowadays)
- Mathew Lillard - 6'4.5 (still that height)
- Adam Baldwin - 6'4 (maybe 6'3.5 nowadays)
- VINCENT D'ONOFRIO - 6'4 (maybe a tad under 6'3.5 nowadays)
- Mathew Modine - 6'3.25 (probably still that height nowadays)
- Jesse L. Martin - 6'0.5 (nothing more than that nowadays, because D'Onofrio is no way 6'6 to look like that next to him, even with slight ground advantage)

Watching the twi pics with JL Martin who never ever looked either short or weak...I am just abashed because Vincent seems a giant beside him, in height as well as in width. Huge huge dude if any. Even younger and thinner he had the old star frame; broad shouldered and big, bulky; the same guy with a more slender body would appear taller for sure.
