Almost 5’8 makes sense. My 174 claim was the absolute highest I’d give her, but Taehyung and Jungkook would still edge her out. Very tall for her age and where she’s from though, 5’8 range is already 97th percentile according to height standard deviation (if we have 5’2 at the 50th): Click Here

Where did Sungchan claim 182cm? He said he was a bit taller than Lucas who also claimed 182cm, so if SM was logic, his claim would have been 183-184cm. Also, he was 19 so he couldn’t have grown 2-3cm in a year.
Either way, he looks very close to Johnny’s height and sometimes even edge him, so 182-183 might be more accurate.

The consensus on here has Psy at 170 and even his profile lists him at such. I think there’s no reason to think Suga is any more than this too. A weak, at most on the dot, 5’7 in the same range as Jimin (who’s under it).

Here is what their profiles bill them at:
Yunjin is 172 cm (5'8")
Kazuha is 170 cm (5'7")
Garam is 170 cm (5’7")

I’m not sure if you were looking at outdated info @Jiroh but it seems that Yunjin is the tallest. So that would mean @nz meant it was her that would be near JK/V’s height, Kazuya/Garam near Jimin/Suga’s height. I can see Yunjin at the most 174, she may reach a similar height to someone like Jung HoYeon.

This is definitely one of the taller girl groups though, their height average is 167.67.. an even 5’6. This just proves the younger generation keeps raising the height average, all members are above average-tall compared to most Korean women.

@bgh could be insoles in socks, but I could honestly see Lucas at 5'11.5 and sungchan at 6'1. Jisung is probably 178/179 as it doesn't look like he tiptoed that much although sock insoles are definitely a possibility.

Also leserrafim's yunjin is definetely 170+, maybe even 172 range. Assuming the reference point stayed constant, she looks taller than tzuyu and much taller than yuna. I think they'd keep her away from the shorter bts and txt members

Jisung got measured at 179-180 when he looks around similar range to Jaehyun who is a 5’9 flat. Jungwoo looks 177-178 when standing next to Lucas. Jungwoo looks taller than Jisung.

I wonder how tall leserrafim is. According to their billed heights, kazuha is similar to V,jungkook, and, beomgyu, and taehyun while eunchae is similar to jhope. Yunjin and garam are similar to jimin and suga. Might need to see them interact with TXT/BTS first before we can tell.

That being said Yunjin did look taller than wonyoung in pd48 so they might actually be accurate

I would question the footwear first, we never know if one of them has an advantage/disadvantage when it comes to shoes. And even then, a near 5’9.5 guy isn’t going to look too far off from 5’11. It’s all a matter of perspective.

People at 5’10 can get away with proportions too. It’s not exclusive to 5’11-6’+. Plus TOP has looked shorter than 5’11 guys on many occasions. I’ve mentioned the comparison with the confirmed 180cm athlete earlier in the comments, but here’s a more noteworthy case: Click Here

@Hear of Darkness Minhee was measured on air back in 2020 at 185cm so I'd say he's that minimum (assuming he hasn't grown at all): Click Here (timestamp 6:14). However, I do suspect that he's probably taller than that now given he grew 3cm between 2019 and 2020 (182 to 185) so he does have a track record of being a late grower. I think one of the other members (Jungmo) also recently wrote him a message asking him to stop growing, implying that he has grown since 2020 and may even be still gaining some height. He is only 19 so it's definitely not out of the question. However, 190cm kind of seems like a stretch to me. He doesn't seem a full foot taller than Kep1er's Chaehyun who's listed at 5'3, though I can't see her footwear and it's possible her platform is higher than his: Click Here. I'd guess more in the 186-188cm range for him.

As for Rowoon, he released his weight and bmi recently and fans used it to infer his height was around 190cm so I think his 190.5cm claim is pretty accurate: Click Here

Rowoon I think is quite modest about his height claims. In the past, he used to claim to be 189 cm tall, but he says he's actually 190.5 cm, which seems believable. However, fans think he's way taller than that lol.

As for Minhee, back in his Produce X 101 days (he was 16 by then), he was listed at 182 cm. However, when we debuted in X1, he was listed at 185 cm. Now at CRAVITY, I believe he's still listed at 185 cm. However, fans think he's over 190 cm, and quite recently, he claimed to be that tall already. What do you guys think?

Tzuyu should be a solid 170 cm, while Bae and Sullyoon both look the respective 171, 167-168 that they claimed. Yuna's 169 is very sketch as well as Jeongyeon's 169.

That does look over 5 cm but under 10 cm. I think her 169 measurement was either in the morning or with shoes. There's a video of ryujin, Chae, and Yeji comparing heights and they are more or less the same give or take 1-2 cm. I always thought chae was the tallest of the 3 and yuna has 2-3 cm on her. Afaik Dahyun claims she is 161 now, although that could be a morning measurement.

Another idol that is definitely shorter is current inkigayo mc treasure's jihoon who claims 5'10.

@leafy, wow, thanks for the information about Sunghoon being a figure skater. Definitely around 177 cm minimum on his height but not more than 180. He might've grown a couple centimeter or may be 1 cm since. As you know, they add 1 - 3 cm to idols height, and sometimes 5 cm max.

Sunghoon has 177cm on his figure skating profile from before he was an idol which I assume is an accurate measurement (probably taken by a medical examiner). Given he was probably in his mid to late teens when that measurement was taken I'd say he's 177cm minimum. Could be more like 178-9cm now, 181 seems like a stretch, but below 177cm wouldn't really make much sense.

It has a very very slim chance to impossible for him to grow from 175 to 179 at the age of almost 22 years old in a span of 4 and a half years.

to answer your question, it looks like Sunghoon also wear insoles. If you'll look closely at 0:32, Click Here, beside wearing a chunky shoes, I noticed that his ankle part is slightly forward (I know this because I use lifts on low cut shoes as well.), and probably the same height as him.

Also his height is not consistent. If you're going to google it up, his[Sunghoon] is 1.77 m unlike his listing on kprofiles, which is unbelievable 1.81 m.

Click Here , on 0:38 mark, that's a sneak peak of enhypen's height, although their shoes vary and if they wear insole or not. Ni-ki is their tallest member with his height differing from 1.80,1.81, and 1.83, from a far, Sunghoon looks like a weak 5'10" guy.

If you're going to ask me the smallest members of Enha, Jungwon and Jake, doesn't look like 5'9" at all, Heeseung is not 6" as well (based on kprofiles).

To answer your question, my estimate is Jungkook is taller than Taehyun (who looks like a 173 guy) by a cm, he [Jungkook] looks like a 174 guy nothing more than that.

Like what I have said before, the only height which are not questionable is HueningKai or Soobin on their company family photo. The rest have additional 1-3 cm or 5 max in their claimed heights. RM on the other hand is tilting his head upwards which gives him additional height. My estimate on RM is a legit 180 out of the bed and he drops to 178.5 at night. When you look at the shoot of BTS, TXT, and Lee Hyun, the only people that height are not questionable Huening Kai and Soobin (both from TXT). The rest of them are inconsistent. Even RM looked like a weak 5'11. If you look at their HYBE family shoot.

Now that we are talking about more idols, I do want to know how tall the Enhypen members are. Specifically, Sunghoon (Claims 181 cm) and Jay (kpop profile is 180 cm but I heard he claims he is 175 cm now). Heesung was listed as 178 cm during I-land, but now he's at 183 cm because he started being comparable to K on the later episodes. But, he doesn't seem 183 cm after I-land, and that inflation kind of inflated all the other member's height too.

Kinda shocked Yeonjun is only ~5'9 changes since the TXT members do seem taller when they are seen with other idol groups. Also, Hyunjin being ~175 cm is a big surprise tbh since Stray Kids is already seen as one of the shorter boy groups.

I agree with both of you in that I believe he’s in the 5’9 range. My guess is about 175-176 cm. In the picture you sent, he’s basically the same height with V. Both V and Jaehyun always wear insoles to increase as they are visuals for their groups. Jung Kook is somewhere in the 5’8 range so it makes sense that both V and Jaehyun are about an inch taller.

Also, the top of Rosé’s head is at the middle of his forehead in both pictures. So when using the MrInitialMan height comparison website, I put Rosé height in at 168 cm. For the top of that figure to be in the mid forehead zone, Jaehyun’s figure has to be about 175 cm.

Also, here’s a pic of him with NCT 127. Click Here. Johnny (the one on the far left) is listed at 6’0” and it is a very accurate listing, some people even think he could be taller than that. Based on that picture of them both shoeless (Johnny isn’t standing completely straight because his head is tilted), and this one Click Here , I believe Jaehyun is definitely in the 5’9” range.

Final say, Jaehyun is 100% taller than Jungkook who’s 5’8 range, so 175-176 conservatively. But honestly more like 177-178 and can pull off 179-180 with solid footwear and proportions (hence why they’re listed as such). Kai’s the same case. Both comparable to Chalamet.

I’ve also looked into the case of Jaehyun because his height seems all over the place. I’m certain he’s in the 5’9-5’10 range, but would give him 5’10 for the benefit of the doubt. He looked taller next to Jungkook: Click Here

But he tends to wear some thick shoes here and there. He has similar proportions to Jin, so I think that 175-178 range is safe. He looks about that height next to Rosé, but probably measures near 180 if he’s wearing thick shoes or lifts.

I think Jaehyun is the same height as another idol whose height is often speculated: Kai. They both seem taller than Jungkook, but slightly shorter than RM.

Hey Rob, there is currently a Kpop idol that a ton of Kpop fans are curious about what his true height is. Jaehyun (from NCT) listed at 180 cm and Rosé (from BLACKPINK) is listed at 168 cm. Based on comparing her height to Lisa’s(from BLACKPINK), it is very likely she is a solid 168 cm. So then how tall do you think Jaehyun is? In those photos they practically have equal footwear and it doesn’t seem like Rosé is getting the camera advantage. The first two photos in the link I posted below shows 2 separate occasions when they were photographed together, which sparked curiosity of Jaehyun’s real height.

I know my final verdict had already been posted, but the more I look at it, the more I feel like I underestimated Jimin’s height. They are obviously the shortest amongst the 7, but Jimin’s low is probably 168.9 (I had him around this height on average). I could see him most comfortably at 169.5cm (5’6.75). The highest I’d have him at would be 5’7, but he barely makes that mark in the morning or on a good day.
If we go by this metric, Suga would fall into 170 territory and more times than not, can pass for 5’7 and change. That would also explain why they’re not too far off from the 5’8-5’9 members (as I feel like with my earlier estimates for them there should be a noticeable height difference between them and those 2, but it’s only ever seemed around 1-2 inch difference.

My last comment did not address this, but this time around, getting their exact heights would contribute more to accuracy before rounding up. Jin is the closest one to 5’10 out of them.

Fans have always inflated celebrity heights ever since long ago, a lot of it is really just attributed to status/presence and not actually seeing them in person to compare (for the most part). How one carries themselves and being well-proportioned can go a long ways. I think Jungkook, along with many of BTS, as you’ve mentioned have benefited from these things.


That being said, I will give a final verdict on all the members.

Jimin 168-170cm
Suga 169-171cm
These two are comparable in height, but they are barely 5’7, dip under it throughout the day. I have Jimin at ~169cm (5’6.5) and Suga barely edges him out.

J-Hope 172-174cm
Jungkook 173-175cm
V 174-176cm
Jin 175-177cm
These four range in 5’8-5’9 territory. J-Hope maintains 5’8, probably will measure 172cm at the lowest or in the evening. The thing with these guys is that they have always seemed relatively close in height, so I think these ranges do justice to where their average stands (i.e, Jungkook 173-175cm would average to 174cm). So that would put V around 175cm (flat 5’9 who can look taller because of lifts, same as Jungkook) and Jin around 176cm. Jin being the second tallest makes sense, he’s always looked 5’9+, but can appear 5’10 due to proportions.

RM 178-180cm or 179-181cm
And alas, the tallest member I have around these two ranges. RM has always looked 4 inches taller than Jimin, so at least a 10cm difference between the two. He is for sure taller than 5’10, so I can see him both at 179 or 180cm. The former would be in line with the average guess, but the latter would be in line with the listing. I think somewhere in the middle would be reasonable, but 5’10.5 or 5’11 would not be out of the question.

Considering that they all have sketchy shoe advantage in these pics, it’s clear that none of them are their listed heights besides RM. Jimin is a decent 5’7 could even dip below a little at his worst I cannot be convinced otherwise, and that twitter post with his measurement is absolutely fake just look at him next to the 5’10 tennis player. Suga same height. Jin is a strong 5’9, definitely 5’10 in the morning. He claimed in his livestream he was 178.3 cm, I thought he was a solid 5’10 because of his good proportions but seeing him next to a 5’11 actor definitely puts him at a 176.3 position. Now V is a complicated one, he loves his insoles and visual status, but with all the evidence he’s a flat 5’9. J-Hope 5’8, jungkook is 5’8 got towered by Megan thee stallion, RM is 179.5-180cm. Overall I think these guys deserve a listing as their heights are pretty controversial and would be for food discussion

V has got to be barely scraping 5'9, probably 5'8. Look at this photo, he's right next to Will Champion who's arguably 5'11-6'0 who's wearing flat converse, V with massive boots barely looking still looks nowhere near 5'10. Then we have Guy Berryman in the middle who everyone agrees is in that weak 5'9 range in converse, looking much taller than most BTS members.

I've seen what solid 175cm, even 178cm look like next to classic 180cm people IRL, the heights are extremely close. RM at the maximum is 180cm as he claimed himself, and the differences I see in photos between him and the other BTS members make it very hard for me to believe that any of them are above 176cm except for maybe Jin who I believe is a solid 176. V looks to be not a hair higher than 5'9, even 5'8 1/2 is arguable. Jimin & Suga are weak 5'7, J-Hope Jungkook in that decent 5'8 range.

V is a lot trickier to identify, sometimes he can look 174cm, other times he can appear as tall as 177cm. However I believe him to be 175-176cm, nothing less and nothing more. I'd give V a weak 5'9, probably 5'8 1/2 at his low. Had some boots here while RM had standard shoes, still looks a solid 2 inches shorter despite having footwear advantage. If RM can be argued for the 179.7-180 range, V is definitely in that 174-175 range. Jimin is a legit 5'6.75, I cannot be convinced otherwise.

Korean President Moon Jae-in has met the group on Sept 14 at the Blue House. Based on some pictures, it seems like the the shorter members of the group (Suga and Jimin) has pretty significant height advantage over the Korean President. However, I am still not convinced that the members aren't wearing insoles.

Based on height comparison between RM (For measurement sake, I'm listing him as 180cm)and Moon Jae-in. Moon does not look his listed height of 172cm. He seems to be in that 167-169 range.Then again, RM eye level is higher compared to the other members. Moon is seen to be taller than Kim Jong-un with less than than an inch of height. It seems like he has lost some height possibly due to aging. Based on that photo, what would you list RM and Moon down as?

It baffles me how there's noticable height gap between RM and the members if they're in the 5'10 range as their listed height when looking at photos. 1-2cm height difference should't be very noticeable.

What's your take on this, Rob?

RM definitely in that weak 5’11 range, J-Hope is definitely 5”8 max. Jungkook looks 5’8 even with that major shoe advantage, Suga and Jimin look 5’7 range even with the big shoes. Can’t even say for V because he has some massive boots.

This is a single file line up of the guys with Moon Jae-in. Moon is listed as 1.72m, RM is on his left, Jin on his right. Suga is to the left of RM. All the men were wearing minimally heeled dress shoes except V (Far left) and Jimin (2nd from far right) who wore a chunky sole, about 1.5"? Interestingly Suga was wearing a very low heel and, standing straight for once, was slightly taller than Moon. I'd bring V and Jimin down half an inch, Jimin is shoulder to shoulder with JK here and he wouldn't be in bare feet, to make the height range accurate.

Hey Rob, a new photo has been taken of BTS with Coldplay’s Chris Martin which you listed at 6’1 1/4”. Considering how chunky Chris’s shoes are, does this mean that Jin and V are in that 5’10” range? I’m really confused as to how they can look like 5’8-5’9 at times though. Also where would this put RM? He looks significantly taller than Chris and his shoes are a typical low cut sneaker compared to Chris’s chunky shoe.

It's a running joke in BTS that Jimin is really short where he is made fun of by other members, which wouldn't make sense if he's a legit 5'8, when some other members are actually 5'8. He's very aware of his height, so 5'6.75-5'7 range is the only rational possibility. I've also seen some accounts of people saying that they've seen Jimin IRL, and he barely looks 5'7. (Take with a grain of salt). In the Black Swan behind the scenes, even if I said Jin is a flat 5'10, Jimin looks 5'7 barefoot next to him.

Alright, BTS members have such varied heights it's very hard to tell. I used to think maybe they're actually legitimate 5'10s, because sometimes they look that with RM who can be argued for 5'11. But the more I see them, their shoes, and with James Corden I feel that I think it's just RM who is shorter. He's imo 5'10 5/8, maybe 179.7cm. Cannot see 5'11 because of how close the other members get who are definitely not 5'10. Also, he is visibly shorter than Taylor Swift in heels, same with Charlie Puth, barely looked 2 inches taller than 5'8 James Cordon. In the GMA interview above, he looked 2 inches taller than 5'9 Robin Roberts with a decent shoe advantage, making him a bit under 5'11.

Now, V & Jin. Jin I can see a clear cut 176. Always looks average height, good proportions. He looked exactly 1 inch taller than Michael Keaton. V, on the other hand is super tricky. Idk how he does it, but he looks sometimes 1 inch shorter than RM, to 3 inches shorter, to 1 inch taller, it's crazy. In Black Swan, near the end with James Cordon, he's looking shorter than James Cordon. Although while barefoot, I would assume if he's 5'9 he shouldn't be visually shorter. Also, in the carpool where they dance at the end, V has shoe advantage (thick heel) over James, and they still look the same height, maybe V one inch taller. In their Flinch, the images I posted in the comments below, he looks 5'8.75 with James Cordon. With Charlie Puth 5'10, he's looking sub 5'9. Now, in the Black Swan behind the scenes where they're barefoot, V is the same height as Jin. Jin is prob 1cm taller than him though.

Now, I will say that these guesses may not be accurate. They all wear so many different shoes/insoles their height always changes. Look at the SNL, RM looks 6'1. V (wearing clunky black shoes) looks 5'11 next to Keaton. Jin looks 5'10. It's all super wacky. Then you see them next to James Corden, they're looking shorter. It's all over the place. Then there's this picture where equal footwear, jungkook looks 5'7 and Jimin looks 5'9.

Overall, their height varies so much because of their shoes/posture/angles. Jin sometimes looks a strong 5'10, others 5'9. V looks anywhere from 5'8 to 5'11 because of his clunky shoes/angles. RM looks 5'10 to weak 5'11. Suga/Jimin definitely 5'7. J-Hope/Jungkook clear 5'8.

jimin walking next to ha sungwoon. now two assumptions are made. (1) visibly there is 7-8cm height difference. (2) jimin is wearing thicker soles that are 1-2cm higher. this estimates jimin's evening height around 167 + 7.5 - 1.5 = 173cm. therefore, the official report stating 174cm is plausible if he was measured in the morning.

judging from the height difference between bts members, i estimate the following height ranges for bts (morning height as upper bound, evening height as lower bound):
rm 181-179
jin 179-177
v 179-177
jungkook 178-176
jhope 177-175
suga 174-172
jimin 174-172
my conclusion is that their official heights are their morning heights before spinal compression throughout the day which causes 1-2cm height loss. i'm only posting here because i'm interested in knowing their true heights, not to prove anything or assert anything as fact. any refutation of my estimates is welcome.

Looks the same with Charlie Puth, and got dwarfed by Taylor Swift in heels and Shawn Mendez. (Shouldn't be that much of a difference). Think this listing needs a downgrade, average guess is a little under 179 as well.

Jin is a solid 176. V, I would give 174, maybe 175. He gets favorable camera angles a lot of the times, and since the studio is trying to cash in on him as their main visual because of his popularity, they're coming up with the claims that he "grew" in his mid 20s which is a lie... That's why in photos he's looking "officially" looking like a giant 1 with massive shoe insoles. However, in Run BTS, etc, looks 5'8.5 range. J-Hope is a flat 172.7 cm, Jungkook 173cm. Suga & Jimin are in that 169-170cm range. I wouldn't give Jungkook 5'9, because he commentated on how much taller Charlie Puth was when they first met, and Puth is a 5'10 guy, so why would he say that if there's only a one inch difference?

Considering the listed as 5'10ers have good proportions/low weight, I would expect them to look in photos something like Timothee Chalamet who is a legit 5'10. But, whenever they're in flats or with other Celebs, they're looking that strong 5'8 weak 5'9 range + looking up to 2 inches shorter than RM who is arguably just a strong 5'10.

V at most is 174-175. This should be known, but all of the officially "published" photos are edited and he always wear thick lifts where he looks 6'0, and Jin looks 3 inches shorter than him. This is wrong, because in earlier days, Jin always looks taller, and was listed so. I guess BTS made a change, so now V looks a lot taller and is even listed higher though the chance he grew is 0%. If you watch some of the Vlives, or non-edited photos of equal footwear, or even with other Korean celebrities who are listed as 6'0, he looks to be 5'8. Looking at airport photos, even though he has good proportions, it doesn't look close to 5'10...
My guesses, RM is 179.7 cm. Jin is 176. V is 174.5 max. J Hope is 172-173, Jungkook 173, Jimin is a legit 5'6 if you look at unedited photos without his lifts. Suga is barely 5'7.

Consider adding some other Korean celebs and stars now. They're the real debates, when it comes to heights (with their insoles and elevators galore). Besides, Korean celebrities are soo big and popular worldwide that I’m sure that lots of people would find this debate interesting and be curious about their heights.

I would suggest to start off with the members of BTS and Blackpink as they’re the biggest idols and also have plenty of pictures taken with Hollywood celebrities as well.

They're really really big names, and will garner healthy debates here I'm sure. Please please consider adding them soon enough. Most Hollywood stars are already here and their estimations are accurately done.

I think on the official profile, their heights are with shoes, but the differences between them seems realistic so based on the information I made these estimates about a few years ago...

short (5'7 ish)
jimin: 5'6.75" (smallest member, 1cm shorter than suga)
suga: 5'7" (seems shortest but often has worse posture than jimin)

average: (5'8-9" ish)
j-hope: 5'7.75" (about inch taller than jimin)
jungkook: 5'8.25" (bit taller than j-hope, tad smaller than v and jin)
jin: 5'8.5"
v: 5'8.5" (jimin says 3-4cm difference between him and v)

tall: (maybe 5'10.5")
rm: 5'10" (has rather a small head, higher eye level, can seem taller as result) but most of the time looks to be 3inch diff with jimin

Only way this is possible now is if jimin is really 5'8 and v is about 5'9. Rm seems about 2-3 inches taller than them.

@Iril Taehyung doesn’t wear lifts anymore, he has not worn lifts in years. When they get measured for their heights it’s an annual health screening, so those are their real heights and weights without shoes. Taehyung has recently said he grew at his latest health screening and is slightly shorter than his dad who is 180cm. None of them wear lifts, they just wear platforms or heeled boots (Jimin) depending on the occasion and stylist choice. We have seen Taehyung still be taller than Jin and Jungkook even when they wear platforms. When they’re all lined up Taehyung is clearly bigger not just frame wise but also his height than majority of the members..Namjoon to me is a solid 5’11.

@Rob, Usually if someone is exactly 180 cm in korea, and really in the entertainment industry in general, they would report something higher. Its probably more likely for rapmon to be 178-179.

Honestly.. BTS's height are a curious thing since with thr exception of Namjoon.. the others are confusing and comparable.. For example V looks pretty tall in pictures and usually looks a little taller than Jin when they line up for pictures on award shows, but I believe he is a lift wearer along with Jimin and Jungkook.. I used to think Jin is a exactly 5'10 and his proportions indicate exactly that.. but I'm starting to think he is nothing over 5'9.5 (a weak 177cm) Jimin and Suga seem pretty much the same height and I don't get why they usually mock Jimin over his height when he is not even that short conpared to Jungkook and J-hope... In my opinion:
RM strong 5'11 (180cm)
Jin 5'9.5 (177cm)
V 5'9.25 (176cm)

Hey Rob! Just trying to give my take on BTS's height.
RM is def in the 5 11 range.
- I really consider Jin at least 5 10 tall. Proportions tell a lot about a person's height. RM and Jin could easily pass for 6 feet if they wished to (which is quite characteristic of 5 10-11 people).
- V/taehyung is definitely in the 176.5-178 range. His proportions honestly do no look short at all. V acted in a drama with Korean actors at around 6 2 (they're actually that freaking tall) and he honestly looked at max 4 inches shorter.
- Jungkook (who loves chunky shoes) and J-Hope are sorta confusing for me, since they sometimes look quite a bit (2+ inches) shorter than RM (who rarely wears big lifts, if at all). However, their proportions honestly dont indicate them any shorter than 173-174 I believe.
- For Suga, I might guess somewhere around 5 7. He's a pretty cool guy who honestly doenst seem to care too much about height, wears little to no lifts and seems very comfortable in his shoes. Seems in that range in comparison to the 5 10-11 dudes.
- I really believe Jimin to be more or less around 168. Really don't see him hitting 170 at all. Jimin's proportions have always seemed "short". Although his legs seem long, his head seems disproportionate to the rest of his body. Keep in mind Kpop stars are skinny af to maintain the illusion of height and even his nice proportions dont really mask how awkward his head is in relation to his whole body. Jimin is the biggest lift wearer in the group and still consistently looks 2-3+ inches shorter than most members.

- As a 173 cm flat guy myself, I've noticed that people within 2 inches of each other are barely noticeable. I dont stand out much in relation to the 5 10 guys. On the other hand, my 5 6 friends honestly dont look too short next to me as well. Whenever, there seems to be a huge height disparity, in normal settings, thats pretty indicative of a 3+ height diff to me

I think RM needs a downgrade to 5ft 10 3/8. Here he is with Robin Roberts who's listed as 5'9, and RM has around a 0.25 to 0.5-inch shoe advantage over her. Yet, he doesn't look 2.25 inches taller, at most 1.5. I think he needs a downgrade to a strong 5'10. Robin Roberts also is clearly taller than Jimin, who looks 5'6 in this video, V at a weak 5'8. They're also notable lift wearers, and even admit it in several videos. Despite the odd angle as well, I feel there's such a noticeable difference that Robin Roberts is taller than every single BTS member besides RM based on this video.

I have met BTS in late 2018. RM is 5'10. The rest of the boys are from a weak 5'6 to 5'9. RM typically wears regular shoes whereas the rest of them wear lifts, especially Jungkook and Jimin. So they're all looking taller than they are apart from RM. Jimin is the shortest at a weak 5'6. Suga is 5'6. Jungkook is 5'7. V at a weak 5'8. Jin is 5'9. The Kpop industry would NEVER list a 5'11 guy as 5'11. He would be bumped up over 6 foot if he were truly 5'11. It is ideal to make the idols seem taller than they are. So they'd bump up RM's official height by a bit and have him wear regular shoes while the other boys are in lifts. So now they aren't that much shorter than RM and are comparable to a fairly tall guy. Also James Corden in shoes was taller than every single one of those barefoot boys apart from RM and Jin. And I suspect James Corden is a little bit lower than 5'8 for most of the day.

Hi Rob, this is pretty good image to compare their heights as they are all standing in order from shortest to tallest! How tall do you think each of the members are Rob? Jungkook’s footwear obviously gives him a boost, but all the other members are wearing standard dress shoes.

They aren’t tall or short band. If you took 7 random Korean guys of their age range it would work itself out to the shortest being a weak 5,7 and the tallest being a weak 5,11 just like here.

RM can look under 5,11. I’m not sure about footwear But they did a performance with James Corden and they were barefoot and none of them actually looked it too short. Maybe he is 179-180 and Jimin and Suga are 5,7. These are some of the most honest kpoplistings I’ve ever seen on their profiles. Seong ri was a legit 5,6 range and had been listed as 176. GD at 177 when he’s 171 max.

Seeing him next to Fallon, Corden and Mendes I'd say 5'10" at a push, can look 5'11" in the elevated boots though. 6'0.5" Mendes was quite a bit taller than all of BTS, to the point where they commented on him being tall (why would they if Mendes was at a stretch 2" taller than RM, that's not a large difference).
