@ Rob - I wear hats with large brims which sit snuggly on the head, but make a fashion statement. Hopefully, onlookers will be too occupied looking at the hat to wonder why I might be wearing it! π

@ Rob - That's worth knowing! I will remember NOT to wear a baseball cap.

Useful if you're having a bad hair day though π Jenny wears her cap a lot, a 'Heroes' one she bought in New York, been going 10 years with that cap...
As for Alan, sometimes people can look a bit taller (or shorter) further away than up close. Although flooring in places like this (NEC Birmingham) is concrete and generally flat, there may be some areas which could be a fraction higher, because from a distance (5-10 feet) and watching him with others, he never seemed sub 5ft 11...up close I did think for a moment whether he might have been under it, but on TV he generally has looked near 5ft 11 with others.

@Christian I would be surprised if he was 5β10.5 but this angle and his hat makes it harder for me to tell his height.

He look 5'10.25" with Rob.

In person, Alan seemed much closer to 5ft 11 than say 10.25-10.5. I had my near 1 in sneakers, he had
A Black boot that certainly wasn't less than 1 inch.

This guy sprang up so much!

I'm not seeing 5'11 for this guy, but a minimum of 5'10.5 is more plausible.

Hat-wearing always makes it difficult to judge height π―% correctly, so we have to look for other indications. Alan's chin is considerably higher than Rob's, as is his collar. I think Christian has nailed it with 5ft10.5, so I will go with that as well. π

Flat baseball caps tight to the head might only give 1/4 or so, but some trucker caps could add 1/2 to 3/4.

T-hat can give the illusion of more height.

@Christian Google lists him as 6β1 lol so this listing fits him better than the latter. But I agree Rob sometimes is generous with his listings. I wonder what this dude claims.

5'10.5 max if equal shoes.

He looks talish on Star Trek but didn't look so tall on The Tudors. That hat could be giving a cm or so. Weak 5ft 11 from me.

@Greg
Tbh, he doesn't look even 5'10.75" in the pic. Best case is 5'10.5"

If heβs 5β11β, Rob is almost 5β9β. This guy seems 5β10.5βish.
Greg said on 6/Dec/19
@Christian agreed I seen 5β10.75β but they arenβt standing in a good way for comparison could be. 179-179.5 guy.
Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 5/Dec/19
Looks 178-179 range, not 180.

Strong 5β11β right here.
