Avi,Nasseruddin shah is 5'7 he was as tall as Brian cox in movie "Shoot on Sight" and om puri is also around that mark he was shorter than 5'8,5'8.5 Amrish puri and completely towered by Boman irani in movie "Don".

i got measured by ku medical centre intailly i used to measure myself using tape and book and it came 187 cm and then my doc in ku medical centre measured me with sch. and it was 186 cm thts like 6'1.25 in miday

did they use a height-stand to measure u?measure urself again!i was measured 1"taller during my admission,they used a tape and book.i was too tall for that man and just angled the book to reach on top.if u r 184cm then john with 2.5 incher could have easily reach to 185cm to beat u.pls measure again

guys,there's some excellent stills in 36 china town.when all got arrested.paresh rawal looked 5'11,kareena 5'7 and shahid abt 5'8.5 all with shoes.shahid's shot was taken deliberately which showed 6'mark partially.every shot was taken from a lower level which adds ht. by 1-2"!from top of the head excluding hair to mid point of eyes is roughly 4.5".5'6mark was 1"above shahid's eyebrow.shahid is abt 5'7.could anybody collect and post this pics?

As for my video, if you see in a high resolution you will see that Shahid is actually wearing sneakers, not dress shoes. Please note that Bipasha is in 3 inch heels and Shahid is still slightly taller. So even if Shahid's sneakers have 1 inch lift, that still makes him 5'9+.
Jake - The thing is that we don't know if SRK was wearing lifts or not in K3G. With two tall actors, my guess is that he was. And Hrithik is nowhere looking 2-2.5 inches shorter than Amitabh. At he most he is 1.5 inches shorter.
As for the ChupChupke video, one Sunil Shetty is wearing huge boots, and second his height is not confirmed at 5'9. He claims 5'11.5 which I am sure he is not. But he is not much shorter than 5'11 Akshay Kumar. And I don't consider Shahid a 5'10+ actor, I consider him a 5'9+ actor. I think I have posted enough proofs till now for that doubt to be removed. If you think that John was wearing lifts what makes u think that Shahid wasn't wearing one? John doesnt need to wear lifts to dwarf Shahid. Lets put ur logic together. According to u Bipasha is 5'7.5 and with 3inch heels she is 5'10.5, but Shahid is taller so he must be at least 5'11. The only way he would achieve this height is with lifts lol. Its futile to compare guys height with girls. Ajay isnt anything over 5'9, thats very easy to prove. John is 5'11-6'0 and dwarfs Shahid with or without lifts. Actually in lifts he would make Shahid look like a kid. John cannot be in the 6'1 range since he is shorter than Amitabh, and evidence suggests that he is more in the 5'11 range.

For the reference, if you need to know how much an inch is, look at the bands (segments of your index finger). The middle segment is pretty much an inch. But try eliminating all that excess hair, and then imagine where the top of his head would be. In all fairness, Anil Kapoor is 5'10 at his utmost BEST posture. Otherwise, I'd give him 5'9.5" every other day (barefoot that is).

I always knew Saif was an average chap, but not 5'7. Come on people. Anywhoo, I got this picture of SRK and Amitabh standing side-by-side. Judging by ba head-to-head level, Amitabh seems AT LEAST 4-inches taller. He could get that extra inch if he keeps his head straight and not tilted (which is in this picture). However, it's a good picture to judge from.

i saw big boss finale today. akshay looked 2" shorter than 6'1 rahul mahajan and 0.5" shorter than winner ashutosh who is in 5'11.5-6' range(was as tall as 6' ranvijay). and mind you both rahul
