In a KentOnline article it mentioned "I haven’t got a problem with my height (he’s 5ft 2in)...People never see my legs when I’m on TV. Maybe they think I haven’t got any. My son’s friend edited my Wikipedia page saying I was in a wheelchair and so I got emails from venues asking me if I needed a ramp."

I’ve not got dwarfism, which some people think because some of the vertebrae in my neck are fused and left me with a short neck. I've just watched Andy in an episode of QI - and he sounded like a small man, so I checked for his height under the 'Shortest Men' route. Well, he isn't 5ft or under, and he's not lacking in the brains department either. He one the 'C'-based words contest, entitled, 'Crime, Cuisine and the Contents of the Queen's Handbag' with '5 whole points' and was very funny and interesting to boot! I like him very much, and hope I see him again on my 'C' Words DVD. 😆👍

⭐ When Stephen was talking about how the duck-billed platypus sweats milk instead of supplying it to its young 'the usual way', he kept mimicking the place where the milk comes from with his hands. Andy said to him, "Will you please stop doing that!" 😂😂😂

Maybe in another time he looked like 5' 2" at his peak, but now his back seems slightly bowed.
