Arnold was exactly what reported in youth, 6'1,5". Whoever followed Arnold life history and career in bodybuilding could easily see that he was a man of at least 6'1"... Nowadays, he lost a lot because of his heavy physical activity and injuries, I guess 2 inches about. I'd go for 181 cm.
In 2016 Arnold was looking around 1.5 inches higher than Eddie in this pics but Arnold was wearing advantageous heels like easily a fraction more than Eddie's shoes(see pics).So by supposing Eddie still was 5'9.25" in 2016(Eddie was in his 55s) ,Arnold was max 5'10.5" by this comparison.

Stallone lol... forget that. Arnold. Arnold in his prime 184cm is a safe bet (be it flat or strong) all things included, nowadays he is lucky to reach 179cm at night. 187cm in training shoes in his peak and more than that in big hollywood boots.

I believe that Arnold got up in the morning at 185.5 cm and that he went to bed at 183.5 in his youth. Which made him a daytime height of about 184cm. It is clearly verifiable on the photos where he appears next to Franck Zane who measures just 175cm during the Mr. Olympia competitions. In these photos both are not wearing shoes and there is barely 4 inches difference between them.
These days, taking into account his past as a bodybuilder, back surgeries and the natural shrinkage of a 75 year old man, I believe a two inch (5cm) loss is entirely possible, which would bring him to a height of 180.5 cm in the morning, an evening height of 178.5 cm and therefore 179 cm during the day, or even 179.5 cm on a good day.

Arnold looked about 6'1-1/2" I seriously doubt that Arnold is under 6'-1" today because men don't shrink as much as women. I myself was always 6'1-1/2" and at 58 yo I haven't shrunk at all...
Most top bodybuilders are in the 5'8" range so a 6'1" guy will tower above everyone else and look much taller alongside short guys....

He was measured at night at 6’1.5”. Now that isn’t to say he couldn’t have laid down first but that would mean he was a weak 6’1” at worst. I doubt it though as he prob wouldn’t get all the way back to his out of bed

It’s quite obvious that if he was a genuine near 6-2 prime barefoot in his prime films like terminator he had to look 6.3.25 in the biker boots etc. He’s never looked a 6-3 + guy!!! He’s struggling with 5-11 now and I personally think he’s 5-10.5 now barefoot. 6-0.75 prime no more.

We all know he is not 5'11 since some years ago... 5'10.5 is the highest I go and I'm generous. His peak of course was max 6'1.

Here’s a best question. If he was near 6-2 barefoot prime how come we have never seen him look near 6-4 in boots etc in his films? He only looked 6-2 in terminator and obviously had biker boots in that which are a very good heel height. Any legit 6-2 guy in boots gets in the tall category instantly. @rob I would say it's not uncommon to lose 1-5cm in your 70s that's why it wouldn't surprise me if Arnold lost 1-2cm since 2017 when I met him. It's been almost 5 years and at that age height loss happens usually at a faster rate

I met Arnold in 2003 in Iraq when he was on a USO tour. I was a solid 6'1.5" and we stood eye to eye, I didn't notice his footwear but I'm pretty sure it wasn't bigger than my desert combat boots. I'd say he was 6'1.5" in 2003 for sure. Of course I also noticed that he was massive in the chest and arms, so he made a 21 year old me feel small at the time.

Now, almost 5 years later it's likely that he shrunk 2cm and us around 178cm.
