If Caron Butler himself considered Ben Affleck rather tall then I'm pretty sure it was not camera angles and in person Ben Affleck's size surprised Butler. So highly doubt that's the case, Pierre.

This video with Caron Butler is biased=look at the angles of cameras,the camera is lots of time advantageous for Ben,and when both guys are looking at same distance to it the camera isn't prefectly horizontal,all the lines on the floor or behind them are inclined as if the cameraman had to reduce the difference of height betwen both guys.

I have been around 6 footers all my life pierre. A handful of my family is that mark or above it. I have an uncle who is a legit 6 footer. I doubt Affleck would only be half an inch taller.

Ben Affleck i say is this listing, i can definitely see him hitting a fraction over 6'2" if measured via stadiometer. At worse a flat 6'2" for him as i said before.

@Pierre: Some of this pictures you showed were not good for judging height though. Especially the first two links. You have to take perspective into account when judging height and when one person is facing away from the camera that can change how height is perceived. Also some of the pics were tilted. If you put a ruler over your screen you will see the ground is slightly uneven, but small differences are important things to pay attention to when judging height. The first pictures you find on google if you search them up are not great, but if you look at enough pics Affleck has nearly 3 inches on 5-11.25 Timberlake.

I would say there was a book reading thing with John Krasinski and other actors (including Damon) where Affleck's footwear seemed to be giving him a boost. I would say he doesn't generally look like a lift wearer but some big boots can give a boost that gets within striking distance of adding as much height as lifts.

Just curious Rob, it's been 3 guys who said that at 6'2 and changes height (Affleck, Hartnett, Welling) they're too "big/tall" to be the leading man even in Hollywood, where supposedly you have to be at last 6'4 to be considered tall, at least that's what the Media has been suggesting. Could they mean in Tv/cinema because they're the main character or they mean it in normal life situations? If even a legit strong 6'2 or near 6'3 guys are considered too tall in Hollywood, then the height distortation over there must be pretty real cause I saw so many guys claim 6'2/6'3/6'4 online (even here) like almost every average Joe can be that range but once a true 6'2/6'3 guys appear, they get commented to be "tall".
Back to Affleck, I think he's like you listed 6'2.25 and can creep to 6'2.5 range, 6'3.5 might be his height with shoes, maybe just measured while wearing footwear cause its the norm in the US to wear footwear all the time inside house.

But go back to the initial picture that I posted of the two in March. I was the first one to post it here. Celebheights 6’1.5 posted one of Butler and Romo and both he and I and Viper all saw the same type of range with Affleck and Butler as did Rob. @Pierre: Affleck comes up above Caron’s eyebrows. It’s a 3-3.5” difference as mentioned previously. That’s not 4”. Then if you look closely at his stance in the first pic Its apparent. But go back to the initial picture that I posted of the two in March. I was the first one to post it here. Celebheights 6’1.5 posted one of Butler and Romo and both he and I and Viper all saw the same type of range with Affleck and Butler as did Rob. And looking at the footwear that’s a footwear adv for Butler of 1/4”. With all due respect, a good majority of the photos that you’ve cherry picked are heavily distorted in favor of Hugh Jackman appearing taller. Hugh Jackman does look taller in the first photo that you’ve linked, and arguably the second, but there’s clearly a warped angle which is fairly conniving. He looks as if he’d possibly be taller in the latter three that you’ve pulled though if you were to have them stand side by side on a surface that’s as flat as a horizontal line.

Rob, did you ever have Ben Affleck listed as 6'3 or 6'4 at one point? I swear I remember coming here many, many years ago (as a lurker) and being shocked at Ben's listing. It had to be 6'3 or 6'4 for me to have been surprised like I remember I was. But I'm not sure of course.
