yeah, i know...i always thought Damon was one of those actors which wears lifts, because i think too, 5'10" is just a generous height to give to him (he looks shorter than Clooney who is IMO 5'10-10.5" max)...

IMO,the tallest Affleck has looked in a film was in Mallrats back in '95(20 yrs. ago) and he was already 22! He looked to be a tall 6'3-6'4" guy at most. He had about 3 good inches over Jason Lee(6'1) so unless Affleck is 6'3 and Lee is 6'0 I think this site should rewatch that film.

She is conflating size with height. Ben Affleck can look big ( Click Here ) and is obviously taller than average. Relative to his height, Ben Affleck is probably bigger than Tom Brady relative to his height (6'4.25", 225 lbs), at least as of late, but Brady is noticeably taller.
Girls or just shorter people in general, tend to be horrible at estimating heights in my experience. There are obviously exceptions, but I think it's generally accurate. Taller people are not exempt from this, however, as a friend of mine claimed to be 6'4", despite being about 6'2.5" (which he later admitted, indicating that he just didn't know his height). It's not necessarily that people are lying, sometimes they just don't know, but usually they know and they tweak the truth, I think. I have a cousin who claims 6'5", though he looks slightly taller - a bit like Howard Stern and Klitschko. Why bother being completely accurate when you are so far above average, anyways?

The extent of his vanity in The Town kinda had me losing interest by the middle of it, even a bit in Argo too. I enjoyed Gone Baby Gone the most of his directorial films because he wasn't in it, I think he's definitely a Warren Beatty/"You're So Vain" type...hard to picture him directing himself as unflattering, vulnerable, even kinda pathetic character like Eastwood did in Unforgiven.

Affleck is exactly 6'2.5. I trained with him at the same gym when we shot Batman V Superman. I'm 6'3.5 in the morning and 6'3 flat in the night. Stood next to him multiple times with both of us in and noticed he was only a shade under me. Cavill is a solid 6'1 flat but with his build he doesn't look it. Saw a picture of Nolan and Cavil and Nolan is a solid 5'11.25 and Cavil has 2 inches on him. In the picture below Affleck looks like he has a solid 1.5 inches on Cavill.

I have no idea what the directors and producers were thinking casting Affleck as Batman, it was clear that Bale no longer wanted to portray the character and has returned to serious film roles, I think Jon Hamm would have been perfect as an older Batman, another superior choice would be Ray Liotta he has the edginess to portray the character.

Finally watched Gone Girl he does tower over Rosenmund Pike (5'8.5-.75) and significantly more than NPH (5'11.25). NPH was convincing he might be nominated for a Golden Globe at least. I think 190 is a better shout. I do agree with Celebheights 188 CM than Jackman is no more than 186-87 tops. He should be 6'1.25 listed.

It's funny how in Gone Girl he looked about average height because the rest of the cast was so tall. If I didn't know his height, or the height of any of the actors, I would have guessed he was under 6ft. Especially in the scenes with Tyler Perry, quite bizarre to see a legitimately tall guy look so average on screen.

My friend was on a movie set with him back in 2000 and he was serving Ben drinks (he played the bartender in the movie). My friend is 6'0"-6'1" and estimated Ben at 6'3"-6'4". This is the same friend who introduced me to LL Cool J on set around the same time.
