Yeah, I reckon he should be downgraded to a flat 6'2". He looked virtually the same height as Hugh Jackman and didn't have more than 2-2.5 inches on Justin Timberlake in the photos of the together!

I've stood right next to Ben Affleck at the Rio Casino before and he's not even 6'. I'm 6'1 and I stood at least 2 inches taller than him.

Don't forget celebrities lie about their heighs so Matt Damon is not 5'10 I've seen him in person and he's more like 5'9" and Jennifer Garner could be 5'7" but might have said 5'8" for modeling purposes, although I've never seen Jennifer or Ben in person so I wouldn't know. But if Ben was 6'4" he would have towered over 5'5 JLO and she never looked an entire foot shorter than him.

Look at the angling of his shoulders and head. He's standing with loose posture whereas Damon is standing to attention, and there's still a good four inches separating them. Anything lower than 6'2" for Ben is absurd.

I'd say he is barely 6ft2. Next to barely 5ft10 Matt Damon in this recent picture looks 6ft1. He's in his 40s has he lost height at this age, it is possible as he looked taller when he was younger.

Most likely him and Damon need a quarter inch knocked off, thought I'd go with 189 before I went flat 188.

The 6ft3.5 is attainable in shoes and 6ft1.5 he can look with a hunch. Around 6ft2-2.5 is arguable. Nearer 188cm at night but mostly looks about 189cm. Put it this way, he's more of a strong 6ft2 than Ryan Reynolds.

He probably measured himself with dress shoes right out of bed to get his 6'3" and 1/2 measurement. He's the new Batman, and Batman is 6'2" in the comics, so at least the height is a good fit. Acting-wise, I'll hold my opinion until I see it. In my opinion, Bale was the best of all the actors to don the cowl.

I met this guy before when I was in Boston. I am a weak 6'3" and i was easily an inch taller than him. He is probably 6'2" flat. I think his height claim is with dress shoes or something. However he did look the same height as Hartnett in pearl harbor.

VInce Vaughn is a good 3.5 inches taller, Snoop Dogg is a good 2.5 inches taller in that photo Sam. Ben Affleck is 6'1.5, 6'2 flat out of bed maybe.. And Sam, that is not 1.5 inches between the top of Snoops head and the actual top of Bens head,same goes for 2.5 you claim for Vaughn/Affleck. I suggest you look up how an actual difference of 1.5 inches looks between people. THat ain't such an ex. Add to it,that Snoop has relaxed posture,Affleck is like a twig,and Vaughn is a bit further behind,which always effects the illusion of the person closer to the camera seeming taller. Yes, he is the tallest main cast member in Argo. All of the actors playing the embassy workers probably don't clear six feet neither do Arkin, Cranston, etc. John Goodman and especially Victor Garber look pretty close to his height on screen though.

Considering Duncan was closer to 6'4 that would put Ben closer to 6'0, which just doesn't add up. There was a good shot of him and Morgan Freeman in The Sum of All Fears and there wasn't much between them, and they were military posture. He's a least 6'2.

Regardless, it's still better than being as short as Tom Cruise, who's not even 5'7" n has always claimed he's 5'10".. heck, Cruise wouldn't let Nicole Kidman wear heals, since she was already 6'0", as one of Nicole's comments after their divorce was: "I can finally wear heals again".

OMG do those two really share the same mother??? The brothers look absolutely NOTHING alike whatsoever. A good example of the extent genetics can produce very different looking children one strong 6'2", slim with brown eyes, the other 5'9" a little chubby and blue eyed.

can someone please explain to me how jason lee is taller than ben in mallrats. personally i think ben affleck was at his tallest in mallrats, he looked about 2.5 inch's taller than brodie bruce, just watch all the scenes where he beats him up. why the hell does everyone downgrade, they just want him to be shorter because of his acting ability. also with pearl harbour it's not as if there were 2 inchs difference between hartnett and affleck. they were roughly the saim height varying ever now and again.
