Quinto and Pine are both weak 6 footers, they are 5' 11.75", a solid 182 at night. They get overestimated, but so does everyone else. People don't know real height, they haven't been measured themselves.

Tman - Quinto looks 6' next to 5' 8" Mamun. I actually think Mamun is 5' 7.75" though (sorry Mamun!), which would make Quinto 5' 11.75". He looks to be the same height as Chris Pine in that vid btw.

maximus check out the photo of pitt clooney and damon in slippers and socks photo, I think pitt is a strong 5'11 he wouldnt need lifts 6'0 in regular shoes, but I agree vin, pacino and cruise def do! vin not because hes short but because the expectation is he should be huge, like Dwayne or schwarzenneger who are over 6 feet easily. If he stated that he is 6' then he probably is that height. Just makes you realize that 6' is a decent height for a male. With shoes on he is 6'1 to 6'2...thats regular shoes not elevator shoes that Vin, cruise, Pitt, Pacino etc...have to wear.

His own testament seems like the most accurate. Looks a hair over 6'0" and 165 lbs., sometimes down to 155 lbs. Not a very big guy, but he really looked big in Carriers. The camera deceives.

Hey Anonymous, I have to go with 6 ft. I can understand how you would think he is 5'11" tall though since there is a very slight difference between 5'11" and 6'0". I myself am 5'11", and I have people thinking I am 6 ft, and even a couple of my friends think I am 6'1"! But when you compare me to somebody who actually IS 6'1" or 6'2" you see clearly I am not 6'1".

I saw Star Trek yesterday and to be honest Pine and Quinto looked dead even throughout the whole film. A few times Pine had the advantage, and vice versa for Quinto.
As for the scene with Tyler Perry, Perry still had a good 2-3" on him, so I'm not sure about all this talk about him standing on a box? If anything maybe Perry is more like 6ft4 to Pine's weak 6ft1? Ace, that is true, but if you notice most of the pic's Qunito's eyes are higher that Pines. In trek 2009, right before the Romulan ship is taken by the black hole.Front shot has Quinto taller if you pay close attention. Uh people, in the scene next to 6'5 Tyler Perry, Pine was on a box so he wouldn't look so tiny next to Perry. I've met Pine and Quinto and Pine is 6 foot, 6 and a half at best. Quinto is about 6'1 and a half, looked a strong 6'2 in dress shoes.

Yeah Jean, that scene was quite surprising. Although i don't know if it says more about chris pine, than it does about Tyler Perry's height. I have always believed Tyler Perry to be somewhere near 6`4-6`5, but maybe not. Either way, Chris Pine is long overdue for an upgrade.

To Maximus: Why would an actor like Quinto "lie" about his height? I can understand really short actors rounding up a few inches, but Quinto is easily 6'+...why would he need to round up that much? I think he and Pine are both 6'1".

The reason he may appear taller than 6' is because he is a legit 6'. We have become acustomed to other actors claiming heights that are not accurate and in reality they are 1 to 2 inches shorter than their claimed height. Because he is a legit 6', with shoes on he is a legit 6'1" which is a decent height.
