How about 5’10.5” peak, Rob?
He could often give a 5’11” Illusion on film.
There is an argument for stronger 5ft 10 range peak.

Rob, did Lambert look under 5’10” the time you met him in 2011?
Similar height to very worthy add Jean-Claude Brialy. My mind is made up for 5’10.25” peak for the two of them.
I think he wasn't far off 5ft 10 but since meeting him lost a fraction.

I watched about 45 minutes of Chris's 'Highlander' yesterday, mainly to listen to the Queen soundtrack, but there were too many battle scenes for my liking, so I turned over to the Medium omnibus.
Christopher looked around the 5ft10 mark back then, and I'll cast half-an-inch off for today's height. One day I might watch the film in its entirety. I like Clancy Brown, and Christopher with his long hair! (Ditto in the case of Clancy).
The film starts when Henry VIII was on the English throne, in the 1530s, though, of course, we didn't unite with Scotland until 1603, when the Stuarts took over from the Tudors, Elizabeth I leaving no heirs, so we settled for James VI of Scotland, who became James I of England. 🤴

Interestingly, there was another Christopher Lambert in showbusiness, otherwise known as Kit Lambert. He lived for just 45 years, dying a month short of his 46tb Birthday. He managed bands like The Who, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Fairport Convention and many more.
Christopher Lambert, the actor, gets 5ft10.25 peak and 5ft9.5 for today's height.

Its sad to see so many hate against Lambert because he has a longface. If you watch films from the 80’s-early 1990’s, most male leads have a long face. The difference is that in the 1980’s-early ‘90’s they would hire actors based on range of talent instead of just looks alone. If you are just looking for looks instead of talent you can watch almost any film made since 1998. Actors from the 80’s-early ‘90’s with long faces: Mickey Rourke, Kevin Costner, Richard Gere, Eric Roberts, Dolph Lundgren, Nic Cage, Timothy Dalton, and Clint Eastwood. Getting back on topic, I had no idea that Lambert was almost 5’9. But then again, I don’t really care because he’s a great actor and I enjoy watching both Highlander and Fortress

Rob, since you saw him recently close again and you said he can still be close to 5'10" then peak height 5'10.25" and today 5'9.75" would not be a better list for him?
5ft 10.25 in 80's and 90's is possible then 5ft 9.75-10 range today, but I have not decided.

As with Tyson and Perrineau, I think 179 cm seems to be debatable for him, but I think that the usual 5'10" is not enough for his peak height. Rob, you said all three men have a chance for a little over 5'10" (Lambert, Tyson and Perrineau). Will you now give Lambert an upgrade to 5'10.25"?
It is a figure that may well be possible, and he has lost a fraction by now...I did see him up close recently and you know he might still be very close to 5ft 10 today.

Rob, who do you think has the best chance in young ages to reach a strong range of 5'10" (5'10.25")? Harold Perrineau, Christopher Lambert or Mike Tyson? Personally, I would give each of them three chances for it. What's your opinion, Rob?
You could make an argument for either of them to have a chance of a little over 5ft 10.

This was in the middle to late 90's on a set at Marine World working on a french film. I have to guess 5'9" for him. As a former wrestler (REAL wrestler), I can size up somebody very well, including their weight. Mr. Lambert was quite light in frame, maybe only about 165 pounds at the time but not unhealthy or anything like that.

Im 5 foot 7 id say he is around my height as crazy as it may sounds if you have seen him next to sean connery who is only 6 foot 1 he looks very short compared to him In Highlander 2 the quickening in Highlander 1 he looks a tad bit shorter but in part two he looks a lot shorter it could just be the camera angle but if youve seen chris next to most the other guys in the movies hes always the shortest one he was definately shorter than adrian paul in endgame who im sure is at least 6 foot. And he was shorter than Bruce Payne. My Rough estimate is that he could be between 5'7" and 5'9" max 5'10" but no more
The Horse of FUNK said on 7/May/06
Nah, I doubt he's shorter than 5'10, it's pretty obvious to me. Keep in mind the woman was most likely wearing heels in Lambert's pic. While he doesn't look 6' in Highlander, especially next to Connery, he just doesn't have the build of a guy who is any shorter than 5'10. Yeah, it sounds a little silly to estimate someone based on their 'build', but it's actually a good way of determining (usually). I'd say he's probably a good 5'10 guy who easily pushes towards 5'11. If he's 5'10, I wouldn't be suprised; if he really is 5'11, I wouldn't be suprised either. So, 5'10.5 seems reasonable, unless proven otherwise (be it taller or shorter).

Considering the fact she looks dressed up, she may be wearing heels in the Lambert pic. So, that's something to consider.

You know, normally I disagree when I see a 6' guy downgraded on here, but I really think is correct. I just watched Highlander last night and there's a part in the movie where Connery and Lambert are barefoot on a beach. Lambert does not look 6' next to Connery in the scene. I think he might have been 181 or possibly close to 5'11.5. Normally when guys are in that range they get easily rounded up to 6'.
Then again, I've never meant the guy, so I wouldn't know.
