I have met Keylor Navas due to I am from Costa Rica and one of my family members had played for Costa Rica's national team; he is 1.84cm barefoot. I am 30 year old guy 1.78,7cm during the day and 1.79cm in the morning. Comparing Keylor's height with mine and Real Madrid players on the pictures in google, I can say the following:
- Cristiano Ronaldo: solid 185.8cm
- Keylor Navas: 1.84cm
- Sergio Ramos: 183cm
- Iker casillas: 1.81.5cm
- David beckham: solid 1.80 cm

@James, none of those postings are evidence of Benzema under 6ft, the so called "empirical evidence" clip, featured Bale, then Benzema stood about a foot behind him in the line up it seemed according to the camera angle, so that's unreliable. Frankly in the last two links I don't see any difference between him and Bale in actual fact, who does normally look slightly taller. Benzema is no less than a decent 6ft, can't we all just accept that and move on ?

TBH I've met both John Terry and Frank Lampard o the same night at a party. Both in dress shoes, and terry looks like a solid 1m 87cm in person but Frank really struck me like 1m 82 rather than his listed 1m84. Very nice guy though. I'm 1m85 and was easily taller than him. Looking at Rory's foto below seems to be the case

I did a wee video a while ago showing a feet near and then wide stance and the difference is basically nothing: This video.
There's a tipping point to the stance when you will lose height, but I don't think Ronaldo's stance is any wider than mine in the test video, in fact probably a little bit narrower.

Judging by Rory's photo, I would actually say Ronaldo is 6"1.75, extremely close to 6"2ft.
He's just slightly taller then Terry in that picture and doesn't look any less tall then 2.5-3 inches to 6"5ft Cech

Personally I think @175 cm heights guesses are too low: certainly I can't assume Benzema is 180cm after a match or Torres 182cm after a match.
The lowest I can accept for them are respectively 182cm and 183cm.

If I was in Rob I wouldn't know if list him 185cm or 186cm (both correct in my opinion), he s between those two marks the larger part of the day.

Lol Benzema is not a dwarf for a striker..actually I think 183-4 is arguably perfect for a forward as its not so tall that you struggle with agility, pace etc like say a 6'3 striker might, but not so short that you can't compete in the air for crosses like you might struggle to at 5'9 say.

Kaka could be measured later than Ronaldo, and Ronaldo early and forcing the posture!!! It is possible. Only the decimals listings are worthy, so don't take in consideration another ones. The trouble is when I know factually you've under guessed Ferdinand who I've met by 1.25 inches approx, I rly then can't rely on any other guesses you make, which is just as well because they're all useless.

Dipping under 6' is obviously impossible for CR7 but something like 184,5 isn't impossible for an absolute lowest.I just watched a vid about Cristiano competing against a pro sprinter who was listed at 175.At one point the sprinter was exactly reaching cristiano's eyebrows so about 4" difference.Solid 185 IMO.

If want to increase his height tbere is a bigher chance of him being lower then 6'1. If you have ever had your height measured by lasers, like some of them height/bodyfat monitors you in many modern malls in the UK, you will notice they tend to give a higher height then if you were to use the aerosol method against the wall. Also, there is good chance that Ronaldo's height was not measured in the evening more rather afternoon or morning. So you see, 6'1 is a decent measure and fair. If he were to come Rob's abode and subsequently measured in the evening, don't be surprised if he was measured at 6'0.5 rather then 6'1.5.

In the picture below with Cristiano, I'm sure Cristiano was a Little tip toeing and Zidane with not maximum posture. Worth mentioning that pic with prince William was after the 2009 champs league final, so he would have been at his absolute low. Yet still looks a comfortable 6'1 there..i think you could argue 6'1.25 for Ronnie...6'1/6'1.25 you could argue either.

I always believed he is 186,5CM.Mandzukic listed at 187cm right now.However he was listed once 191cm too.And that was about 8 mothns ago before moving to atletico.He has an inch on Ronaldo or maybe 2cm minimum.So my guess is Mandzukic at 188cm and ronaldo as mentioned above.

Yh he sometimes tip toes in pics but a lot of players do to be honest, on his tiptoes hes 6'2-6'3 anyway..not as if he appears 6'1, only when tiptoeing..nor does he stroll around the pitch/street on his tiptoes either and yet he still looks a comfortable 6'1, which after all is what he is.

Editor Rob maybe they took 2 measurements? Always possible...but I think the one flashing on screen might have been just a mistake and the nearly 186 being the one the measuring device actually recorded.
