Dana Delany's Height

American Actress well known for her tv work in such series as China Beach, Body of Evidence, Desperate Housewives and Hand of God. In film she can be seen in Fly Away Home and Tombstone. In a 1995 article in Lelundi she is quoted as giving 1.63m (5ft 4) as her height and 109 pounds as her weight, although she herself gives 5ft 6 inches as her stature on her website.

If Willem Defoe is 1.71 max,she seems to be 1.63 indeed, based on the visible evidence from the movie "The Light Sleeper"...and that height seems to be possible only by assuming that Defoe has a "shoe advantage"... It is ultimately a strange situation for my perception because in the cast photos from " China Beach", she looks taller than her famous co-star who is listed as above 1.60...Her name was Marg,right?...

Editor RobI think it was written as 1.63m but she wouldn't have said metric to the french journalist, so I'm not sure if it would have been 5ft 4, 5...or 6 - but she definitely had the 5ft 6 on her own website.

She did a movie with Willem Defoe in the early 90's called 'Light Sleeper'. Maybe we should have another look at that movie. Susan Sarandon was also in the movie. Maybe I'll watch it again and compare the heights of all three of them.
