It's funny that Big Ed in Twin Peaks is perhaps Everett's most iconic role (enough for the actor to come briefly out of retirement) as he basically plays the nicest guy around (he seems pretty nice in real life too), which is really cadting against type in his movie roles.

McGill would've been a natural in another era in Westerns, probably would've been always played the bad guy or the moral ambiguous characters.

This guy reminds me of an old PE teacher who'd back you to pushups on a muddy rugby pitch in the rain and yell at everybody haha. Chiselled, intimidating guy still, I believed 6'5 for him once! Then I rewatched Under Siege 2 and he was indeed slightly shorter than Peter Greene.

Between 6ft2 and 6ft3 is where he’d land in his 20s-40s.

I reckon McGill was the strongest 6’2” Licence To Kill cast member out of Timothy Dalton, Robert Davi, Benicio Del Toro, Don Stroud and McGill. 6’2.25” seems the ticket for McGill’s peak height.

Thought that i was born in first day of 1990 but i grow up watching tons of 80s movies have see the good work of Everett McGill i remember the most is The People Under the Stairs it give me some creep of nightmare as a little child watching it in the late 90s and i still remember him in Stephen King's Silver Bullet as the bad werewolf that terrorize a small town make some scares in my childhood Lol. Happy to see his performance in latest Twin Peaks a few years back. Def was ever a strong 6'2. Doubt him lost more than 1/4.

Today he’s probably below 6ft2, how much though
189cm on the nose peak, taller than Dalton, Davi and Del Toro in Licence To Kill. But then looked a full 3in taller than Kyle in Dune and Twin Peaks

Sometimes looking at him, I remember Jack Palance...

He's perhaps, 188'6, but I remember him perfectly, taller than Eastwood in Heartbreak Ridge. One inch at least. And in Twin Peak (1990), was the tallest with difference!

he was a skinny guy that had a face that made me think he was like 191-92 from twin peaks. but in reality i think this is what he was. today in photos he probably is no taller than 185

He's standing with Matthew Lillard in this pic and looks a lot shorter, not even much over six foot. He's 72 now so maybe might have lost a bit of height.

Yh looked a little shorter than Clint in Heartbreak ridge, I'd say Clint 191cm and Everett 189cm in '86.
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 19/Feb/17
Definitely a bit taller than Dalton and Davi in LTK.

190cm at all possible, Rob?
