Hey Rob, how can he be 6'-2" tall, if the guy that played Jimmy Olsen, was only 5'-7" tall? He looks to be around 6'-0" max, compared to Jimmy (4-5 inches taller). Unless the guy that played Jimmy, was actually 5'-8" or 5'-9"! What do you think about that? I've watched the show recently.

Larson sometimes got called 5ft 9, but I'm not sure about him...I think Reeves had to be somewhere around 6ft 1, rather than only 6ft

I think he was 187-188cm range

There was something more appealing about this guy as Superman than the others for some reason He had a very All-American, rubbery featured look about him. Like a real life action figure that broke out of it's box...

Rob, could 6ft2(188cm) be closer if he was described from 6ft1 to 6ft3?

Right in the middle

from looking at him before, I'd stick with the current mark

George was normally 6' 1" but the costume's Superboots got him close to 6' 2". There's an old alumni photograph (Pasadena Playhouse?) with George standing alongside fellow actors such as 6' 1.5" Richard Webb and 6' 3" Frank Wilcox. George is clearly two inches shorter than Wilcox and half an inch shorter than Webb. The "Superman" episode with Chuck Connors is somewhat confusing as Chuck appears to be wearing lifts in some scenes, similar to what he did with Jim Arness in "Gunsmoke", to make his character appear more intimidating.
