Harry was actually quite a late-bloomer. I think he was around 173/4 on the X factor but seemed to grow two full inches after it. In his boots he looked about 4 inches taller than Louis, who he looked about an inch taller than back on the X factor. Take into account his boots which would give me an inch boost, and hair which is another half inch, and you can see why people think he's 5'11". I highly doubt he is though.
The best evidence I've seen is the photo of him barefoot with Steven yuen, where he looks pretty much 5'10". I think people fail to realise thst someone who is 5'10" can actually look pretty tool with the right footwear and hairstyle.
I think the current listing is his absolute low, I reckon he holds 177 throughout the day and is probably still 178 range by lunchtime. Maybe the flat 5'10" listing is fairest, I don't know.

This is correct height. Anything above this is entirely exaggerated. He wears thick thick boots and even in trainers sneakers he doesnt look taller infact a lot shorter. No need to correct height at all. This is generous enough and yes seen the guy irl at Heathrow and he def short as short can be. Even with those massive heels. Thanks

I completely agree, I don't think he's even touched a lift before.
I think he's just sneakily had a growth spurt over the years to a full 5'10" while all of us thought he was still 5'9".

He really does stand quite loose at times, but can still comfortably look 5’10. The average guess (5’9.66) is ridiculous. It’s unfair to have him at this height. Wouldn’t be surprised if he is 182-183 cm if he is Busting a Gut early in the morning. Maybe 180-181 under normal circumstances with just a “standing tall” pose. (For example 4 pm)

He's 26, he stopped growing a long, long time ago.
One thing that did grow after he stopped was his footwear though.
He's a lanky 5'9.5/5'9.75 guy who can pass for 5'11 in nice footwear.

The thing that confuses me is he has quite a big heads (you can see in photos with others that it's noticeably bigger) so if he was close to 5'11" with his proportions, he must have a MASSIVE head...

He came into Wawa the other day. The dude had a body guard that looked about 6’1.5 ish. And Wawa (which is superior) has some tall shelves and he definitely was taller than I imagined. You could see It when he was standing there next to them and even the employees.

Rob, I've been lurking on here for a while now and I think this listing is still a low-ball really. According to this listing I'm about a cm taller than Harry but I never look how he does in photos with random people - even with similar boots. As a previous poster mentioned, towards the end of one direction he absolutely towered over the other boys.
People on twitter who have met him either say he's really tall, or that he's 'shorter than they expected', but still over 5'10". I really don't see how this site has managed to keep him below 5'10" for the best part of 6 years now...
I think the best proof is the most recent basketball game. He looked within an inch of Cumberbatch who you've met. With Steven Yeun he looked a strong 5'10" I feel. I think 5'10" is a fair listing now - he looks that at a minimum, and honestly more often than not he looks a fraction over it. There are tons of pictures of him with female fans where they don't even come up to his shoulder - I know women are smaller but even 12 year old girls are like 5' minimum, but he makes them look like sub 4'9".
This listing is throwing off other listings on the site - there's more than enough photos of him with 5'11" people where he is within half an inch.

Hello as an ex lift wearer I can say Harry is definitely wearing shoe lifts, there's been quotes from ex one direction bandmates that he always bought bigger shoes than his size (look it up) that's what a lift wearer does so the lifts fit. I used to buy bigger shoes.
So with the lift 2 inch inside the shoe and a 2 inch shoe he's gaining up to 4inches in every picture. You can get 3 inch lifts to, but it's harder to keep your balance! That's the main issue.
I used to wear lifts in boots and shoes like him, and I can tell when you look at the ankles and it's all lifted and hard to keep balanced.
Is it any wonder he always looks unstable and fall over on stage on stage.
I don't wear them anymore as it hurt my back, but once you start wearing them it's hard to ever go out without them.
Id put them in my gym shoes, everything!

The listing seems accurate, Harry’s slouching a little bit and with those boots he’s got 1.5-2 inches of a boost. I’ve tried them on before and they’re not extremely exaggerated in height boosting as you think.

Here are some pics of Harry with Mr. Chris Nolan who is 181cm. Personally I think they look about the same height which makes the case of Harry's height more difficult again. I agree that he can look like a 177/178cm guy especially beside his former band-mates, which I put back to his bad posture. But after their split he looked like a 180cm+ guy almost all of the time. In 2019 its very hard to tell because hes wearing heels and stuff.

In my opinion he definitely is a guy who appears like a tall man, not the tallest but a man with a good height. I also think he cares a lot about his height because he pulls of those heels or Chelsea Boots. Otherwise he wouldnt have claimed to be 6 foot. We wont see this guy in sneakers the next 5 years I suppose.

A lot of content on SNL Youtube's channel without boots or heels. Strong 5'9 maximum. It's pretty easy to compare. Average height anyway. Will easily look 5'10 or 11 with his usual Saint Laurent heels. Stop the preasure on Rob to add height, 176.5 was already generous.

He's standing in a crowd of mostly women who are all probably on a range of 5'1/5'2-5'6/5'7, including that older guy towards the left. Those 4 youngish guys are all probably about 5'8-5'9. Harry's posture is/was awful. I think he straightened up, slimmed down a bit more, started wearing chunky shoes, and that's helped give the illusion that he's a strong 5'10"/weak 5'11". And boy, he does look it at times.

You have Luke Hemmings listed as 5'11 3/4 and here's Harry, hunched over, standing next to Luke Hemmings being almost the same height Click Here (Luke is two years and six months younger than Harry, at the time of the picture, late 2013, they were both within growing age, 17/19). You really think there's a two-inch difference between these two guys: Click Here and don't even try it, Luke and Harry wear basically the exact same footwear and always have. Luke has been accused of stealing Harry's sense of style countless times (by the way, there's no way Luke Hemmings is currently shorter than 6'2'', but I'll pick my battles).
You keep using that James Corden argument, when the picture you use to compare is not accurate because 1. James has his head tilted back, which makes him look taller. 2. James is standing several inches ahead of Harry. That's a trick Louis Tomlinson pulls all the time to look taller.

i think harry could possibly be 5’10 although he hunches over and one of his legs is shorter than the other. i think i saw some article about him going to yoga to fix his posture, so i think the photo above is not telling bc he was young and still growing and still had bad posture. maybe he’s gotten a half inch taller, maybe he hasn’t.

Harry generally looks 5ft 9.5 at least, I can see how people estimate him 5ft 10-11 range, sometimes with hair+heels he might look that tall.
If I see enough to think a listing should be taller/shorter I'll change it. Sometimes it takes time and a lot of litsings in my list of 'should I change this' are like a 50/50...maybe I'm not so sure, so leave it as is for the time-being. There's so many celebs listed, with many more to add, it is a ton of trivia I absorb running this site.
The existence of Famous People helps earn me a living 😻, but I don't have any personal stake or care in their height 😎

Boxers heights have been very untrustworthy even if it's from official stats, Conor McGregor was once billed as 5'11" on a fight and recently with Floyd Mayweather he looked about 1 inch taller than him, making McGregor 5'8.5"-5'9".
Also keep in mind Fenech's 172cm listing may have been from when he was younger, he looks around his 50's now so he was bound to shrink a little.
I wouldn't rule out Fenech as a solid 5'7", boxers tend to bloat their heights.
