thats a tough one...his slim figure makes him look taller than he actually is but i guess 182cm flat for him...actors below 6'3 will ALWAYS round up their height by at least 1-3cm or state their height with casual shoes on..

@Rob - Yep a genuine 6 footer does indeed still look tall depending on build,infact my prefered height has always been 6`2, but after being on this site for awhile I`d be quite happy to be 6 ft like this guy.What height would you go for Rob if you could be any height? - been meaning to ask.

Editor Rob I would choose the 6 foot mark for this site, as it's mostly men people are interested in and would be a good height to guess 5ft 9-6ft 3 range from!

On the Star Wars website it says Anakin Skywalker stands 1.88 meters tall or 6'2".
Christensen though states he is 6 feet tall, anyway this is Hollywood so a shorter man could portray a taller man on screen.

A 6'1 guy would not claim 6'. Anyone under 6'3 would rarely, if ever, say they're shorter than they really are. There's no point.

I think 6ft is ok for Hayden, sometimes he looks quite tall (maybe because he's slim), but he looks shorter by 1.5 inch next to 6'1.5 Kevin Kline in Life as a House, but also taller by minimun 2 inches next to 5'9.5 Ewan McGregor.
What about Hayden's weight? I think is something like 140lbs in Life as a House, 155-160lbs in Attack of the Clones (which is his normal weight) and 180-185lbs in Revenge of the Sith.

Vader has artificial legs and arms that is why he is taller than Anakin. Christensen used to be a model, and his file listed him as 6'1" tall. I always thought he resembled a young Harrison Ford more than a young Mark Hamill. Good looking guy. I would say he is really 6'1".

You're real height is your morning height. That's why doctors like to make check up appointments before noon. I read somewhere where someone said the real height is evening because if someone who has the same height as you doesn't believe you that you should state your evening height. Well one thing the guy forgot to mention is that that same other person would be shorter in the evening as well as the guy who is the same height.
As for Hayden Christensen, I would say 6 ft", maybe 6' 1".

Yes, 6'0" or 6'0.5" sounds about right for Christensen. When fighting against Count Dooku, he looked more than 4 inches shorter than Christopher Lee who was 6'5" at his peak. And McGregor is 5'9" at least.

He himself says 6'0, he does look taller than this at times but I think Rob has him dead on, anywhere between 5'11 and 6'0 seems right, his thin build certainly doesn't hurt his height claim either.

You also have to note that in Star Wars Darth Vader is traditionally about 203 cm tall so Anakin has to look tall. In the films Anakin looks quite tall about 6"1 and a half. However, Hayden in other films looks like hes just touching 6 foot.

Life As A House with Kevin Kline was filmed years ago after Attack of the Clones. You can't accurately guage his height from those old photos. Hayden could have conceivably grown taller since then. Some experts believe some men continue to gain height til age 25. I believe Hayden has gained some height since doing these films. I don't know how much taller but he is usually always one of the tallest people in a group photo even when he was young. I suspect he is at least 6 foot and possibly 6'1".

I've mentioned this hilariously named site before,but it has some good photos of Christensen, Jackson, Lee, and Lucas together. If you go to Hayden Christensen's fansite you'll see a ton of premiere photos of him and other Star Wars cast members since 2002 Attack of the Clones. Now 4 years ago he was 20/21 years old, and I highly doubt he grew since then. In the pics of him and Samuel L. back in 2002, there's one in particular of just the two of them, there's not much of a difference but 1 to 1 1/2 inches between the two. Now in the film Revenge of the Sith they are virtually identical in height. I'm not sure what's up with that since Jackson is reportedly 6ft2.5 to 6ft3, with shoes we are talking anywhere between 6ft3.5 and 6ft4 respectively. See once again, an encounter variance has occured, When I saw Hayden, I could tell straight away that he was shorter then myself, as his shoulderline was lower then mine, and his eyeline was lower then mine. I figured he was probably 181-182cm tall ( and to be generous I said 183cm, but I think 181cm is what Id say if you had to hypnotise me and ask me exactly what I thought he was when I met him). However when Glenn met him, he thought he was near 6'1", so I suppose 184-185cm, I cant explain the variance, but I suppose its always expected. The one thing I am 100 percent sure of is Hayden on the day that I saw him, was definitely shorter then me ( noticably), and I thought struggling to hit the 6'0" mark, more like 5'11.5". Ahwell just makes things complicated once again hahaha

From the other pics Ive seen of him, it helps back up my sighting ( which was in circular quay in sydney) as he is no bigger then Coulthard, who would be in thin racing shoes in that shot, and utterly dwarfed by Kevin Kline, who in my opinion is near 6'2" but some say closer to 6'1". I still stand by my sighting, that he is more then likely around 181cm and no more then 183cm. I have no doubt he can appear 6'1" or more, it wouldnt be too hard, hes not that far off, but Ive never really seen him look 6'1".

True, Vader's prosthetics are the reason behind his intimidating stature, but to carry the same appearance as the 6ft7 David Prowse, a lot of alterations had to be made. A bigger helmet, where Hayden actually was looking out the mouth instead of the eyes to add about 4 inches. Plus 2 inch thick soled boots. I think he is about 6ft maybe 6ft 0.5 no more. I still don't know what gives with the similar height of him and Samuel Jackson. Maybe Lucas had Hayden wear lifts on the set to make him appear taller, and add to his prescence. Yeh from my encounter, I thought he was at most 6ft tall, so 181-183cm would be the boundaries for his height. I think 6'0" is maybe fair haha, and your being overly fair at 6'0.5" but rather give him too much then too little

He towered over Ewan Magregor in Star Wars. I never believed Ewan was 5'10.5" (tho he looked it in Moulin Rouge), but if Hayden was less than 6 foot, that would make Ewan close to 5'8".

According to that picture of him and Kevin Kline, Hayden doesn´t really look 6'1. If Kline is 6'1.5, than Hayden is probably closer to 5'11, I have a friend that is 6'1.5 and I'm 5'11 and if I would replace them with ourselves we would get the same height variation...

I was watching some of the bonus features on the Episode III dvd and I must say there are some parts where Lucas and Hayden are standing beside each other and if Lucas is 5'6 then Hayden almost looks 5'11 (Hayden was also wearing boots).

If you notice in photos you will see Hayden walks alot slouched over. He rarely walks up straight. I see the arguements in Revenge of the sith but in Attack of the clones it is obvious that there is no more than an inch between 6"2 and a half jackson and Hayden.

Hayden is a definent 6"1. You cannot simply tell by photo's and movie shots as it has already been stated, there are various ways of changing an actor/actresses heigh. Hayden has a good number of inches on Ewan and is much more taller than Portman so I would definently say yes 6"1.

As we've seen from George Lucas - the man knows his big shoes, and I think Hayden does too (6'1 sounds a hell of a lot better than 5'11/6'0) and Ewan McGregor I'm sure doesn't give a monkeys who's taller than him, so doesn't mind than Hayden is suddenly a lot taller.

Excuse my last post, I meant 2.5 inches. In Ep III there is a scene where he is standing beside 6'3 Smitts and he appears to be about 3 inches shorter. I think 6' is accurate.

haha there must be a mistake he is measured for every film for clothing measurements and hes always been 6"1. He may have looked taller in Star Wars as hes seen alot with Euhan and Natalie Portman.

I just watched him on Jay Leno, and as he was shaking hands with Leno, I noticed that they were about the same height. Jay Leno is listed here as being 5'11", and unless he's taller than that, Christensen can't be any taller than 6' flat.

Hayden went to High School pretty close to my area and I'm proud of everything he has achieved in his career thus far. I had a chance to tell him just how big a fan I am and also to look him straight in the eye, I'm 6'1" (185 cm) and Hayden was exactly the same height as me.
